Wrong. GBP wanted Khan to avoid Maidana so much that they would of paid him a handsome some. And who can blame him for taking it? If he would have said no Khan would have most likely vacated anyway.

They wanted him to avoid Maidana? If you don't have a RELIABLE source then don't bother. Because you probably picked that up from here.

And how do you know Khan would have vacated? You're basing this on what? You're not Khan so you don't know what he would do.

    What is there to see?
Khan is carefully managed, if you can't see this then you're deluded.

The GBP had Maidana look elsewhere as Khan wasn't ready for it, and on top of it all Khan goes on his twitter saying Maidana ducked him.

Come on man, if you can't even sift through THAT, then you're blocked out for any truth out there.:patsch

At least he is issueing an intent to fight these guys instead of acting like they do not deserve a moment of his time.

His career HAS been carefully managed. But how can you call fighting a top 10 140 pounder 'carefully managed'. He will have to face someone in the top 5 regardless now anyway. So yes, his career has been carefully managed, but I think what Darni is saying is, that everyone will be proved wrong and Khan will fight these people.

What I used to like about Khan was acknowledging he wasnt on top of the crop, and recognized Bradley as the man to beat.

But its clear as ****ing day that they wanted someone else to deal with Maidana, Bradley is doing Khans work, and that's pretty sad to be honest.

Maidana said that his manager had advised him to have a couple more fights to build his name before fighting Khan. If you don't believe it from the horses mouth, can't help you...

Khan made it clear if forced then he will fight Maidana because he was not willing to give up he belt.

How long can hide from the top 140 fighters?, if Khan fights another non-puncher next then even i would lose respect for him.

But for a debut Paulie in his backyard is not a bad fight, lets give him this one.

This Maidana is a beast, outboxed by Kotelnik, lucky victory over a quitter, unifying the division soon.

The mini tournament was intended to be Khan - Maidana and Alexander - Bradley.

Instead we got Khan - Malignaggi and Bradley - Maidana with Devon Alexander left out the picture after clearly showing he's LIKELY the best.

Well you have to admit, that seriously, who knows Maidana apart from Hardcore boxing fans? Seriously?

Did you see the Maidana-Cayo fight? Did you see the amount of people in the Arena? It was like a ghost arena.

And what money does Maidana bring to the table?

If Khan was to get beaten by the biggest puncher at 140, where would that leave his career? he'd be finished as everyone would say he got beaten by another nobody, right?

Boxing is a business. These guys fight for money. It's their job man.

Maidana is an overachiever, I'd favour Khan over him, but Maidana has shown he can dig through the trenches and land bombs even when under assault, which is something that Khan needs to prove he can overcome.
