I think his speed would.have made the first half of the fight interesting...but eventually Floyd's accuracy and timing would lead to khan getting stopped.

Having said that I'll never understand why Floyd set up a poll for fans asking who he should fight out of Khan or Maidana, and then went with Maidana despite Khan being the one fans wanted to see him fight.

I think there might be something to this. Back then I felt that Khan would be one of the more interesting fights out there for Floyd and I don't see any clear sporting or commercial reasons why it never was made.

Mayweather got dropped by Judah and any other boxer would be disqualified for what Mayweather and his team did invading the ring to disrupt the rhythm of that fight after he was losing the first 4.

Look how easily Molina got DQ'd when his team went into the ring early.

Anyway all that aside under Freddie Roach at LWW is when I felt Khan was at his best. Around the time he boxed Maidana. Easier said than done at that time for a fighter like Mayweather with no power to knock him out at that time when even Maidana couldn't. There's a reason Mayweather fought him when he knew it was a good ppv money spinner and that's because he knew it was a dangerous fight stylistically.

Khan has always been delusional and obsessed with Floyd, even straight after each loss, he never even cracked the P4P top 10.

It would have been boring, too spoilers hugging each other as soon a they got on the inside, neither guy could fight on the inside.

He used to step with his jab bringing his head nearer his opponents fists.

A couple of reasons he chose Maidana:

    1. Maidana was the more lucrative especially for the dates Floyd chose to fight on Cinco de Mayo in May and Mexican Independence Day in September. Fight income is maximised in Las Vegas and PPV with him fighting either a Mexican fighter like a Canelo or Marquez or another Latino fighter like Cotto or Maidana.

    2. A lot of interest in the US market because Maidana had recently humbled Broner who many saw as a Mayweather clone.

An additional reason was when Leonard Ellerbe and Floyd realised how desperate Khan wanted the fight and cash they got a kick out of not giving him the fight especially as Maidana accepted less money than Khan wanted.

Dont agree. Its a 50/50. Mayweather knew it was a bad matchup and thats why he avoided it
