I want them to fight, wanna see those big ears of Khan's flapping like the last time Prescott landed one on him! Damn that slow mo replay of the knockout was priceless.
It's not a bad idea, this could be the first PPV ever where people would pay good money to see it despite knowing exactly what was going to happen beforehand. And in which round it'd happen too.
I really can't understand the hate surrounding Khan, I mean I know they hyped him way too much and probably went too far with the nonsense about him wanting to fight Mayweather, Hatton and others but isn't that what they do with many fighters as they promote them? Maybe Khan took it a bit too far by believing some of the bull**** but the hate is a bit too far in my opinion, way too much hate for a guy who's actually trying to bring excitement in boxing.
even if it goes 3 rounds, soon as prescott lands clean khan will get knocked out again prescotts powers much too strong for khan, khan will never be able to withstand his punches
I think its more to do with the fact that he seemed to bypass good british level fighters and believed he was above them. Also most people dont like Frank Warren, and apparenlty Khan's family are money grabbers. I think if he did fight him again it could be very different, lets get it right Prescott blew Khan away but that doesnt mean that would happen everytime they thought, especially if Khan didn't come straight out looking to fight and used his head a bit.
You'll probably find with the UK fans it's got more to do with his behaviour outside the ring than in it as to why he's disliked. Mowing down innocent pedestrians a la Hamed was never going to make him popular - that's the main reason I dislike the **** anyway. It also doesn't help when the media over here treat the average boxing fan like a moron and try to hype up the guy like he's the real deal when it's been obvious from day one he's totally china chinned. Not Khans fault as you say but that's life I'm afraid.
He was obviously cocky the first time and paid the price, tried to entertain the crowd thinking his opponent won't be able to hurt him or put him in serious trouble and then he found his self out under a minute. Hoping to see some improvements after joining Roach even though it's obvious Roach won't be in his corner Saturday night. I honestly won't be surprised if Khan actually struggles, he was KO'd brutally nearly two months ago and is fighting again too soon, the affect will definitely be there and he might be more cautious.
I would like to see Khan take more punishment next time, get all busted up and **** before he got KO'd.
I'm not sure Khans tactics would make a difference, delay the inevitable maybe but when a guy wobbles you to your boots with a jab in the opening seconds......nah can't see Khan ever beating this guy.
,Maybe I just expected more support from British fans since that's what I'm used to from them when it comes to their athletes, guess Khan can be counted out by the majority in this one. Even I have to admit that the hype was getting ridiculous, especially all the "I can give Mayweather hell in a 4 rounder" and "I want Hatton soon" nonsense.
