I laughed when people said it 3-4 years ago and I laugh at it now.

How many times does Khan have to show you that he's not elite p4p material? He shows you time and time again his numerous flaws that will prevent him from ever reaching that level, and people go "he's so fast, he's got speed and a great jab, if he fights smart and avoids getting hit....". If he were a smart fighter with elite skills and a top notch defense, then he wouldn't be Amir Khan. It is annoying and ignorant when people dismiss fighters who actually do things like you know, set traps, create and exploit openings in their combos, use proper fundamentals because they are not fast and don't throw flashy arm flurries....and then talk about Khan's alleged great skills because he has speed. I remember some idiot saying "besides his chin, Khan is the complete package", after he fought Maidana. Maidana! How on earth could anyone watch that fight and go "wow, he's a complete fighter!"??

This is about as bad as when people would say "if only Tyson would reunite with Kevin Rooney, he would take over"....and it was like 2004 lol
