You cant read too much into what people say in the press. If it hasnt been twisted or misreported in some way, then they will probably change their minds. Hes still a very young man. This aint newsworthy, just a page filler.

this is typical of boxing and its crazy fans

The boxer says in an interview

"I won't fight until I'm 36. I'll peak when I'm world champion and I'll probably want to just keep fighting as the stakes rise and my profile rises."

and the dumbass haters come out and say

"Khan wants to retire at 25. He wants to retire as soon as he gets a belt. He is a celebrity fighter. He is arrogant. BOOO ****ING HOOO"

    what a joke

Perhaps...but how many top fighters have decided to retire at 25, willingly?

Well, I guess that it is time to stop following him. Who wan'ts to follow a person's career if you know they are going to retire after their first good test? Although in the interview that I read... he didn't exactly say that he was going to retire as SOON as he won a belt... or at a certain age.

    I wasn't just referring to that particular interview. If I'm a ***** you're a **** for misinterpreting my words.:good

Simple, because the WBO are still a joke. It's not a final eliminator mind.

Nope, even the WBO couldn't justify making it a final eliminator when they already have people ranked 1st & 2nd.

Well anything is possible with the WBO but I cant see how they could justify moving Khan above Diaz & Peterson if he beats Kristjansen.

Care to explain which interview you were referring to? An interview you made up in your dreams about him retiring at 25? Seems like you were making **** up. :patsch

I never said he was going to retire at 25. I was referring to various interviews he has given lately. Anyway, I can see you are having a bad day as all you've done today is abuse people. I'll leave you to your pubescant fit of rage.:good

Weird statements. But it's not easy to retire at the top. Let's see how he does in the next couple of years.
