Khan after froch lost to Kessler "Froch always had a lot to say and talked trash about fighters, including me. What goes around comes around. I think he should hang up his gloves and work for me. I'll get him a job with Khan Promotions to put up posters."

"What goes around comes around" never a truer word said Amir. He's better keeping his mouth shut.

I hear that Froch started the war of words in the first place.

And Khan technically is a bigger than Froch at the moment..

He called it a 'lucky shot' that he got KO'd with too

No need for Carl to kick the guy while he's down though

    No he ****in didn't.:nono
He said today that what he meant was if he had been beaten like that,he'd retire. And he's 35.
All you Khanboys are all upset over **** all when what you should be focusing on is a very exciting young fighter should think about his future because there's a genuine danger he could get badly hurt.
Khan will never ever have Froch's credibility and that's what you're all crying about.:|

the general perception of khan is of being an arrogant ***** (partially true) whilst Froch is viewed as a straight talking warrior so people immediately jump on khan when reality he was defending himself against a cheap shot on Frochs part

these two have been having sly digs at each other for years and its only recently that they started being civil paying each other fake compliments etc

Froch is hurting he gets no recognition in the UK and wasn't even asked to carry an olympic torch when it came to Nottingham cause no one knows who he is.... he says he would retire if he was khan cause he aint in the game to get beaten up... he also went on to say he's only lost to fights 1 arguably a hometown decision and the 2nd (ward) a very close points decision. we all know this is bull**** cause Ward tottally schooled him!!

I prefer Carl Froch as a personality to Khan and i think he partially got what he deserved the other day after he was all walking around with shades the day before reffering to himself as a superstar and blabbing on about having the style to beat mayweather...

However within this instance he's well within his rights to defend himself against a blatent cheap jibe from Carl kicking a man whilst he's down!!

froch is a delluded idiot, it wont be long till he gets outclassed again, he has never been rated number 1 in his division so khan already is one up on him there, thats without all the money and stuff. Once a bitter **** always a ****.

The guy just lost, he's 25 prime age, he's probably heartbroken and some guy is going on TV saying "if i were him I would retire"...tell me how is that any different from:

"If I were him I would jump off a cliff" vs "He should jump off a cliff".

Same thing, phrased differently. Khan has every right to say **** off and mind your own business.

Excellent post, for the total vagina Khan acts like sometimes people seem to forget what happened after the Kessler fight to Froch.

No chance Khan says anything, Froch would blow in Amir's face and they'd have to get the paramedics in. It's all part of boxing anyway, they are keeping each others name in the news which is always a good thing.

Froch also refered to him as a 'write off' he was being harsh and didn't bother sugarcoating it and now that Khan has talked some **** back everyone is outraged that Froch's been insulted.

The BBC article misquoted Froch. They also left out the positive things he said about him, too. They've at least changed it now, though. Because Froch also said this "I hope he can come back, he's got enough years left and if he has the ambition and desire to come back he could. He's a good fighter."

Very well put and a fair point.
But Froch has come out today to try and clear it up.
Some Khan fans need to realise that suggestions for him to retire are not all malicious.I think Khan as a fighter brightens up boxing but I have no wish to see my own selfish urge to watch him continue fighting outweigh the dread I feel when I think about what could happen to him.
He's achieved a fabulous amount in a short life.I'd hate to see it end badly.

Is it me or do folk have a problem with understanding english?

    Recent comments made by froch:

"Khan's been knocked out by someone who is not touted for the top level."
"It's very damaging. I would retire if that happened to me."

"I hope he can come back, he's got enough years left and if he has the ambition and desire to come back he could. He's a good fighter."

BBC have altered their article. What was written before did sound harsh from Froch. He called Khan a "write-off". I think Hearn or Froch's representatives got them to change it.
