Im about to book a fly down to the Wild Card gym to become a boxer. Amir has gone crazy officially or Freddie has done an amazing job with this kid's head.

I think he is the fastest, but Pac and Mayweather have way more experience and skill.

Khan has the fastest hands in the sport, and is getting faster as his timing is slowly improving under Roach, in a few years his speed will be mastered and controlled then he will be unstoppable.

People saying Khan not accurate vs Maidana 45% total punches landed not bad.

Compubox is a pile of ****. That's the same system that said Wladimir Klitschko got outlanded by Tony Thompson.

Khan wasn't all that accurate against Maidana. He'd throw a quick flurry, maybe one shot would land, and Jim Lampley and the crowd would go nuts.

Come on man Maidana is not hard to hit his defence is open, even vs Paulie Khan landed when ever he wanted, still room for improvement, but with his speed its there is little room for error something his needs to keep improving on.

But Roach is the best guy for that, he will help Khan controll his gift of speed in time.

I think Gamboa at the moment is the fastest, Berto would also be a good option. Khan is in the top 3.

Maidana isn't especially hard to hit, and even then, Khan wasn't that accurate. Compubox is inaccurate, it frequently gets stats wrong just by going by your own eyes.

Khan has many things to work on, and accuracy in his combos/flurries is just one of them. It's like he gets overly excited and this causes him to be sloppy and lose accuracy.

Against Malignaggi he was more accurate. He didn't have to worry about Paulie's punching power, and he also didn't throw those overly anxious flurries. He stuck with straighter, crisper shots rather than flurries and that helped.

I'm not really so sure about Roach being the right trainer for Khan. For his footwork, yes. Pacquiao has improved his footwork and Khan needs to do that as well. He already has fast feet and a good set of legs. But in terms of style, Khan might be better off going with a defensive style of trainer.

You see people forget that Maidana walks you down, and cuts the ring off well he most of the time dont really let you set your feet, something vs a boxer like Paulie Khan could.

Maidana admitted before the Khan fight that he never knew how to cut off the ring. It was something they worked on just for the Khan fight.

That's where footwork comes into play. Khan's footwork got him into trouble against Maidana, he didn't give him enough angles and too often went straight back to the ropes.

That's why I think Roach in some instances, may be the right trainer for Khan, but he also might be a little too offensive minded as well. Pacquiao's footwork has improved under Roach. He slides off the ropes at the right angles, gets in and out of position, and has better balance nowadays.

Footwork is one of the main things I suspect that Roach is working on with Khan.

And it showed, you see this was a world title shot, fighters will do their best to win.

There was an extra 100k for Maidana if he beat Khan, something that must of been in his head in the 10th, he must be thinking man everyone said this guy got a glass jaw why wont this mother****er go down, because this mother****er has a heart of a ****stani Tiger.
