i thought he looked ok but lets face it was a few clips and pacquiao i suspect is a better fighter then sparring partner while some fighters look a million dollars in sparring and look a joke on fight night. if only he could take that face guard into the actual fight.
I think he got hit by a left straight , wobbled back, knees dipped before the filming went to another scene, me and my friends all laughed our arses off cus it was clear he went down!!!
He looked ok, apparently he held his own, but sparring is sparring, take the head guard away and Khan would be out sharpish.
You find it hilarious that Pac can hurt his sparring partner? You must have laughed until your throat was bloody then, because Pac hurts pretty much all of his sparring partners. The way I hear it, some of them have even left the training camp due to the harshness. Khan is, ironically, the only one who has been able to at least put up a bit of a challenge due to the speed/size he has. I honestly grow bored of the constant Khan hating around here -- I'm not even a fan of the guy, either. I like slick fighters, and Khan is a fast boxer-puncher with a bad chin. Not my style. Still, though, I can appreciate some of his qualities. The guy has genuine heart. He's always tried to come back with guns blazing whenever he's hurt, and even when Presscott hit him with crushing punches he still managed to stand up and tried to fight back. A lot of the people who hate him have never stepped into the ring (much less the pro one) and can't understand the kind of grit it takes just to be in there in the first place. He's also shown the willingness to bounce back after a terrible defeat -- unlike others, such as Hamed. He's trying. As for the sparring, nothing can really be determined from such a short clip. Roach has said that Khan normally puts up a good scrap, though. He also said that Pac is challenged slightly during the start of their sparring, but gradually wears Khan down as the session goes on. Sounds about right. In a real fight Pac would knock him out, of course, but I applaud Khan for trying to get some quality sparring and training under his belt.
