You don't need to read the whole thread lol just post #126 and 128.

Michael Walsh, who is a certified public accountant and CPA by profession, and probably the man with the most experience that night sitting ringside there. “Certainly from an accounting point of view, but as well from a fight official point of view, he was involved in many other championship fights before. And he kept, as it is customary, a WBA master score sheet which used as an input the same information as the District of Columbia Boxing Commission used for their scorecard. It’s basically the individual per rounds score slips, which are collected from the referee and then supposed to be given to the Commission.
“So the Commission keeps the master score sheet, so does the WBA, and so does the IBF. Therefore the results would be the same, right, because they all use the same information. Well shockingly it was not, it was different. It was the same for the scorecard of Nelson Vasquez, who had it for Khan, and it was the same for Valerie Dorsett, who had it for Peterson, but somehow George Hill’s card had it a draw. Therefore the WBA showed on their card that the fight was a draw.
“Dave Itskowitch, our Chief Operating Officer and certainly one of the most honest and straight-forward people I have ever met, and all of those, those of you who know him, certainly would agree with me. He actually saw the card, the official WBA card with his own eyes right after the fight. And the WBA’s not disputing that the WBA card is different from the official, ah, from the official card.
“Now what happened with the IBF card, with the IBF master score card? It was gone after the fight. Funny enough, it disappeared. When I talked to Lindsey Tucker on Monday morning, Lindsey Tucker is the IBF official, I asked him what happened, he said that the IBF supervisor who was there for the fight told him that it disappeared, that it seems to him that the District of Columbia took it while he was in the ring presenting Peterson with the belt.
“Then suddenly two days ago, an IBF scorecard appeared. It looks as it was made up after the fact, no question about it or was made about, yeah, two days. The printing was way too neat and consistent, not consistent with what usually a scorecard looks like. So, we’re not, we’re just, as I said before, we’re just outlining the facts here. Ah, there clearly is some smoke as it relates to the scorecards and you know the old saying, where there is smoke there is fire.
“Now let’s move on to the points deductions. There are serious issues with these point deductions. First of all there were clearly no fouls. Even Lamont Peterson acknowledged in the post-fight interview that the push, that the push-off from Amir did not bother him at all.
“There are no provisions in the rules related to pushing. In fact the uniform rules of the Association of Boxing Commission do not mention pushing or even excessive pushing as a foul. Even fellow referees, some of the veterans in the sport and they never; believe me, they never second guess a colleagues performance, had issue with referee Cooper’s point deductions and the way he handled that fight.
“Several news stories to that effect were published in the last few days and you can read about outspoken comments from fellow referees. There was clearly no basis for one point and certainly, absolutely none for two-point deductions. The fact is that the ref performed one of the worst cases of home cooking I have ever seen. The fact is that Amir complained during the fight about the excessive and continued use of the head by Peterson and coming in low, head first. The ref realized that and warned Peterson.

Does Oscar not have any pull, Arum would ever never let this happen to his fighter, this is truly some shameful **** unless Oscar was pulling the strings on the low, knowing that Floyd was about to do a bid, and set himself in line to milk Khan for another in house rematch, and possibly a trilogy, who knows, the fight needs to be overturned forgotten and erased from history, cause it was to obvious something else was at play and the fix was in, even though Khan got exposed, he won no less than 7 rounds.....................

  3. So the mystery man who interfered with the WBA scorecard actually ended up with it scoring the fight a draw.

Anyone see any flaw in Khan's point here?

    Or is it just me?

Khan was clearly winning round 7, that round should of been scored 9-9 with deduction.

I think Schaefer's saying the WBA scorecard originally had it a draw, and then it somehow got changed.

In situations like that, can you score the round 10-10? :think

Because that's what's happened on that scoresheet. It was originally given 10-10. Before being crossed out to be 10-8.

iv just watched that round and in no way to khan win that round, and in fact for 15 seconds the ref was telling khan to watch those hands before he deducted them points.

HATMAN is disturbing the supervisor not the judge?

    Amir says:
http://lockerz.com/s/171785402 No1 knows who this guy is and he is now bieng asked to move by Michael Walsh wearing the red tie who is the main supervisor for the wba as he should be sat there

He now gets a chair and sits slightly infront of @OscarDeLaHoya and my father.. http://t.co/xcOyihBO

At the beginning of round 2 he manages to squeeze in at the front again sat next to Michael Walsh http://t.co/gxkw1dWh

Now the IBF and the WBA have still not confirmed who this guy is till this date and what he was doing there.. Now the interesting part

I watched the whole fight again this time just concentrating on this guy wearing the hat, thanks to allot of friends and boxing experts who pointed this out to me

Now this guy doesn't do anything apart from watching the fight but that's only until round 6 when he starts to interfere!

From round 6 all the way through to round 12 this guy starts to interfere with what Michael Walsh is doing and they are both not watching the fight, watch the video and have a look for yourself

http://lockerz.com/s/171788582 This is what I meant on how he was interfeering, as no one is allowed according to the rules to touch hold the scorescards or even talk to the judges n commision during the fight

How would it be 10-10 when Khan got a point deducted?

I've asked this **** on everyone of these threads and still haven't got an answer but can one of you "Khan got screwed" guys please explain exactly what it is that "fishy", which rounds, which judges, what directly are you bitching about? It doesn't matter how long it took, or who was bothering the judges, etc...what were the results of these actions...where are the mistakes, what specifically are you bitching about? Who's card, what rounds, where is the "error"...

If the judge felt Khan was winning, it becomes a 9-9 with the point deduction, doesn't it? Just like it did in the last round. I'm not saying Khan was winning the 7th, by the way (because I can't remember it).

So, if it's a 9-9, can a judge put it down as a 10-10? It's the same thing, essentially. I'm just wondering if that's what could have happened with that crossing out.

  14. Are you sure? I read that as the WBA supervisor Walsh had logged George Hill's score card as a draw, on their own master score sheet during the fight, whereas George Hill had actually scored the fight 113-112 for Peterson.

    That's what he's saying isn't he? That's how I'm reading it.

And if that's the case then all 'Hat man' did was confuse Michael Walsh enough to score the fight an SD draw, on the WBA master score card, instead of a SD win for Peterson.

So 'Hat man' was actually on Khan's side. Peterson should be on Twitter asking who 'Hat man' is, not Khan.

I wouldn't say Khan got screwed. I like to bring the latest info to you guys so you can compare and contrast your views with other posters. Most peeps on esb thought it was a close fight and that everyone was generally happy that Peterson got the SD to the extent that when Buffer announced 'and new' Peterson looked like he was gonna faint any minute.

Now to what Amir has been tweeting crazy about; if you read posts #126 and #128 plus http://www.fightnews.com/Boxing/schaefer-describes-worst-home-cooking-ive-ever-seen-104813 Amir's argument kinda seems to be contradict? Hatman might have be a blessing in disguise for Khan lol unless I'm reading the article wrong?
