    Amir tweets:

Hate when people bring up education! I didn't get a degree doesn't make me stupid. My talent speaks for itself, I'm educated at the highest level in something I love doing and to be 1 of the best prizefighter you need some sort of brain.

Peterson beat Khan on a controversial split decision in December but, ahead of their May rematch, the American has accused his rival of being one-dimensional and incapable of altering his game plan.

"He'll do what he always does, he always fights the same," Peterson told BBC Sport. "He's either straight forward or straight back. That's the way he fights, he's not going to change it.

"The way the fight went the first time, I was pretty comfortable with it. I won the fight so I really don't want to change anything. His strategy [in the first fight] was to hit and move and I didn't allow him to do it. It won't be any different this time. He'll hit and move and I'll stay close and smother him."

While Peterson admits the choice of referee could prove decisive, he remains confident of victory, claiming Khan is mentally "all over the place".

"The referee will be key but I'm not worried about it either way, I'll win the fight, I'll do what I have to do," Peterson said. "I'll be relaxed like I always am in the ring, but he's putting a lot of pressure on himself, saying he won the last fight, saying he's going to change this and that for the next fight.

"He's still out there saying he's the champ, but he's not. He's all over the place. Really, I don't know what to make of him. If he fights on after he loses to me, he's going to lose to average fighters, not just world champions. People need to see what you can do, not just hear what you can do."

Pretty true. But I still think Khan will make adjustments. Sometimes when watching Khan he shows some real skillfull moments. Let's just hope it's not followed by moments of stupidy this time around.

I really Like Lamont a good guy I think i'll continue watching his career. shame I don't think he'll ever be an elite A tier boxer.

Khan is the one who needs to adjust this time around...Petersen was in command down the stretch i felt

Petersen will likely come to fight and bring the same sort of pressure he did in fight 1

Khans job in this fight is to do something different or suffer the same fate

I think Khan makes the adjustments and fights 12 rounds solidly and wins this time

why doesn't khan have any sparring videos, i mean theres that one short clip of him and manny, but from his previous camps, if he releases them its not like people are gonna figure him out, me thinking he gets beaten around a bit
and by the way i have lammont peterson winning this, khan has so much to work on and it wont be achieved in one fight camp,

That particular vid is really old it was back in 2008 when Freddie tested Amir and he put him against Pacman and he held his own although Khan did get hit with some good shots etc. Let's see who wins.

Amir Khan steps up training, craves world titles

    Hey guys,

Training has really picked up this last week now that Freddie has arrived. It was great to see him again and he was ready to get right into it. We moved from Manila to Baguio where I will finish off the rest of my camp here in the Philippines before heading back to LA in early May.
This last week we have been working a lot on the strategy for the rematch and I’ve been through the tape of the fight with Freddie looking at what I did well and what I didn’t do so well. I’m always trying to improve and look at how I can better myself and looking back over the video it lets you see any mistakes you made or even things that can be exploited in the rematch. I’m very confident going into this fight and am sure that in this bout you will see exactly why.
Since we moved to Baguio I’ve been training at the Shape Up Boxing Gym which is inside the Cooyeesan Hotel. I’ve been here before and the facilities are very good, it’s Manny’s local gym. I like the environment of the place as it’s quite secluded and allows you to get your head down and just put in the work. Everything I’m doing now will pay off come May 19th. Over these next few weeks training will be at its most intense before we cool off for the final two weeks so that my body is in prime shape come fight night.
I’m missing my family and friends back home but with my Ipad I can just ‘facetime’ them which is great especially when you are away for such a long time. I missed my niece’s birthday party but still got her a present and managed to wish her a great day when we spoke. I’ve got my team around me while I’m here so I’m not completely alone and a couple of friends have made the trip which makes it easier when you are way from the gym and have some time to kill!
The updates I’m getting are that the tickets have been selling really well and that it is set for a sell out at the Mandalay Bay on May 19th. I’ve been getting a load of messages from fans on my Twitter and Facebook who have planned their trip out there and it will be great to see them supporting me – I won’t let them down. If you want to get tickets for the fight please visit www.sportscorporation.com if you are in the UK, or www.ticketmaster.com if you are outside the country. This fight is going to be just as good as the first one!
I’ve been following Bolton intensely while I’ve been away and it looks like it’s going to be one of those nail biting finishes to the season. We played really well against Newcastle in our last match but just couldn’t manage to get the ball in the back of the net despite some good chances. I’m behind the boys and know that Owen Coyle will help keep us up. We’ve got some big games in the coming weeks and I’m hopeful we can get three points at home to Swansea this Saturday.
On a separate note, I’m so happy that Fabrice Muamba is making a good recovery and I’m praying that he continues to progress and we’ll see him out in the white of Bolton again soon!
These next six weeks are all about discipline and making sure that I hit the scales bang on the weight. Sometimes it’s hard because you have to hold back from certain enjoyments or luxuries when you are in training and even though I’m craving a treat or two, I’m craving my world titles even more. I’ve never wanted anything as bad and believe me I’ll be ready when the night to lace up those gloves comes.

    All the best
    AK

You might be right - perhaps there isn't enough time to get Khan ready. I was bitterly dissapointed with Khan's performance against Peterson. As soon as Peterson stepped deep inside the pocket and applied pressure with combinations, Khan fell apart and showed that he lacked a lot of skills that you would expect a fighter of his caliber to have. I mean, Khan can't in-fight, he can't fight moving backwards cause his footwork sucks, and he doesn't even know how to properly tie a guy up. At 25 years old, I think Khan should have learned these skills long ago - don't ya' think? Anyways, I can't believe that the same Freddie Roach who trains Pacquiao is training Khan.

Meanwhile, I did gain great respect for Lamont Peterson who can either box or in-fight. Lamont may not be a devastating puncher, but he seems to be a complete fighter. He's got my respect and I will be pulling for him in the next fight.
