    Hey guys,

The countdown has well and truly begun, we’re now less than a month away from the big fight on May 19th! I’ve been training hard here in the Philippines at altitude and am feeling in great shape. Manny has started his camp as well so it’s nice to see him in the gym and though we are training at different times we tend to cross paths and have a chat or a little laugh together.

Freddie has been going through things step by step on how we are going to approach the rematch with Peterson. I’ve been working on a lot of things to help minimise the threats posed by him. As I mentioned previously we’ve gone through the video of the fight and dissected it bit by bit and I’ve seen the mistakes I made in the first fight and know that I won’t be falling into any of those traps again.

I really am feeling strong and powerful at this stage and know that by the time of the fight I will be even stronger which is crucial because you don’t want to peak too early. A lot of the drills and circuits I have been doing have been highly intense and really aim to push me harder than I will be in the ring. There has been a lot of uphill running whilst I’ve been in the Philippines and the fact it’s at altitude makes it even harder on the body but as I say it will all be worth it in the end.

I’ve had some visitors from back home over the last few days. The guys at Sky Sports have paid a visit to see me so they can film my camp for this week’s Ringside and Behind the Ropes, a preview show that will go out during the week of the fight. It was nice to see Johnny Nelson and the rest of the guys and we had a dinner together and just talked boxing.

There are some big fights coming up over the next few weeks, it’s exciting times for the sport. I would like to wish Anthony Crolla well after his defeat at the weekend. I know he will come back stronger and he can only learn from this defeat. For me it was a blessing in disguise and I’m sure it will have the same impact for him.

Sparring for this fight has been excellent and I’m taking on a lot of bigger guys who are similar to Peterson in order to prepare for me for this fight. During sparring you get a real indication of where you are at and I’m pleased to say that it’s gone really well and Freddie is happy with what he has seen.

I’m really focused for this fight and am not looking beyond Peterson and May 19th. This camp has been one of my most secluded and private to date. I’ve just got my head down and trained hard and have not done the amount of media work I usually do during my camps. I’m determined to win back my belts and am ready to jump into the ring today if that’s what it took! This fight will be different to the last one and I’m aiming to produce the stoppage this time round.

Bolton’s fight against relegation is looking like an interesting one. We have two games in hand which if we win will see us get out of the bottom three but that’s easier said than done! Every game now is like a cup final and I know the boys will be playing every game like that and giving it their all. I’ve been trying to watch the games here when they are on but follow how the team are doing through Twitter and from friends back home in the UK.

The reason I have travelled halfway across the globe is for one reason only and that is to regain my belts. Actions are more powerful than words and on May 19th you will see just how hungry I am.

    All the best.

    AK

One guy is betting $25,000 on Mayweather then he's gonna bet $25,000 on Lamont Peterson back to back

Khan said recently on Twitter, we will see a different Khan with a different game plan. Doubtful that he will have a game plan that drastically deviates from his previous fight.

I would give Khan the edge though. Either way, will be a great fight. Peterson brings it in every fight.

The fact there is a 98% chance it will go 12 rounds and will be a smallish points decision for Khan if anything with good odds on Peterson makes a $25,000 bet on Peterson decent (if your a multi multi millionaire)
