Strangely, I don't actually disagree with a lot that you have said...Witter would have killed him, one straight down the pipe and it would have been goodnight Vienna

Khan has had his hand held to get to where he is, if he had fought a live opponent at his weight that was not either a blown up Super Featherweight over the hill Super featherweight, domestic level fighter he would of been knocked out more than once.

Limond had 5 K0's when he almost knocked Amir Khan out and Limond is not a World Class fighter.

    Dude,

I like Kotelnik and I hope Kotelnik actually exposes the con man Khan but for boxing it would be great to see someone from England conquer the boxing world, I mean can you imagine Khan beating Mayweather lol.

Im actually being sarcastic, Amir Khan needs to slow down with the name dropping and he needs to concentrate on the Kotelnik's, the Maidana's, the Valero's and the Prescott's of the boxing world before talking about the Mayweather's of the boxing world

man you personal hatred for Khan as a boxer is hilarious and I think it betrays a deep-seated insecurity in you. so, don't take it out on him

Why should he not deserve credit for taking a title shot he never should have had in the first place?

Boxing isn't about what you deserve, it's about what you can get. Just like in life none of us are born to deserve anything, but given the oppotuinity we grasp it with both hands. And Khan is no different.

Perhaps IrishBC ,you were born with an incredible amount of misfortune and have continued spiraling down the line, for that i am sorry but that's not Amir Khan's fault.

Go out more, try and have fun, just remember no matter how bad your situation is , there is always someone far worse off.

    Peace.

I think some of you are mad, because you may have been be those very same people who after the Prescott defeat, said Khan would never fight for a world title. Well here he is people, being trained by the best trainer in the world, sparring with the best fighter in the world, and well on his way to his first....yep you guessed it, world title shot!

Whilst I admit, he's cut a few corners in getting where he's at, but you can't blame him for that. He's gonna grab whatever opportunity comes along. He's been with Freddy for two fights, although both not revealing in terms of his development. But before we blast him, and disregard him as being a potential superstar, let's see how he fair against Kotelnik, and his development under Roach.

People probably are jealous, but mainly because he has fought no live bodies and he is arguably a millionaire fighting for a World Title soon.

There are better fighters than Khan that get kept in the cold and dont get the opportunity, or they have to work their way up the hard way.

Khan should not feel proud if he wins that title he should feel ashamed that he has negotiated himself to a World title without fighting anybody.

Fight the best to be the best you know:good

    Wrong.

Kotelnik picked Khan and not the other way around. Kotelnik picked Khan because perception dictates he is the easiest and the most profitable guy to fight. His other choice was Victor Ortiz.

Kotelnik has fought two mandatories and has a voluntary defense available so he chose Khan for the reasons outlined above.

Khan wont to stay at 140lbs if he win the title because he knows he is taking a weaker Champion, he has said himself that he believes Kotelnik is not that good.

If Kotelnik was that good do you think fish face would let him move upto 140 to fight him ? hell no, he is doing it because its low risk high reward.

Khan is not willing to fight the best or Warren wont let him, if someone like Campbell called Khan out do you think Frank would be so willing to accept ?

Well where the hell's he gonna go? 147?

Khan recently revealed that he's been killing himself to make 135, to which Roach concurred he would like Khan to remain at 140, and that he dislikes his fighters struggling to make weight. Khan is massive for a lightweight, I think he'll much more comfortable at 140, and who knows his chin may even stand better.

Warren has already said he wants Khan to move back down to 135 after the fight, so.........

Low risk? Well we can't win here can we? first you said "he has fought no live bodies" now he moves up a weight division and fights a fighter thats a world champion who has beaten boxers like Maidana who just beat Victor Ortiz the superstar that Oscar's Golden Boy has been banging on about.

So what if doesn't stay at 140, thats up to him. Mayweather did not stay at 154, pacman went back down to 140.

You take a risk everytime you fight, but Low risk/high reward means the reward out weigh's the risk, especially when you are not a natural LW anyway.

140 is probably his natural division but i bet he dont stay there, why? because they guy and his promoter aint interested in fighting the best.

Oh please :nut Mayweather came from 130 and now fights in a weight divison he is more than comfortable at, Amir Khan is quite clearly NOT a 135 pounder.

Khan wont get respect until he starts fighting for respect,

maybe you should give the guy a chance?

You say he is a 140 fighter not a 135 fighter

I mean the poor guy has never fought a single fight at 140 so you want him to fight the best in his first fight of 140 division? WTF???

What hell is up with you man? hahaha .

This **** talk thats coming out of your trousers man, your hatred is fueling you hehe! :tong

Give the guy a chance? he is fighting for a World Title!!!! and he hasn't beaten anybody except a few blown up SFW and a no name Columbian.

You and i both know he is not a natural 135 pounder and any claims to refute that are just plain biased on your part or excuses, no hate on my part im just speaking logically here.

What are you talking about ? you know aswell as i do that is naturally a 140lbs.

You are just making excuses for the guy.
