Long term he's really boned himself, even short term I can't seen this making him much money. Nobody knows primetime. Can you ever recall seeing one of Carl Frochs' super six fights advertised on the tv? I can't, they don't get the message out there at all, sky bombard you with advertisement for their ppv's. Frochs' fights get 50,000 buyers on that chanel, even if this does that well it's only 750 grand total revenue, no where enough to make up Khans' lost purse seeing as they'll have to split the revenue, and of course there's no telling how pissed off sky will be and how it'll affect his career long term.

That only tells a story about Haye's "draw power". If Khan can get the same PPV results with a switch in even lesser time, that means he's worth more than Hayelord. Did you get the part BTW where I said leave me alone? No I guess.

    draw power?

haye sold 700.000 homes fighting audley ****in harrison.

and wlad agreed to take all other tv network revenue including rtl and 100% of the gate fee, why do you think it was called a slave contract?

you have no reason to hate haye, you dont like him because he is BLACK

Okay I'm done with you once I got you reported for being a racist twat. Japs, black people, all you can think about is skin color, you should be banned. This is a tolerant sport.

Boxing is a brutal sport and he needs to make as much money as fast as he can. I am not going to bash him for that and I can't stand the guy and have no interest in ever seeing him fight.

I've worked in finance and real estate for a few years now. There are some cultures in which a "win win" deal is not possible and they will only do business on their terms. Khan falls into that category.

I personally believe he will continually have contract negotiation problems his entire career. It won't be ducking or cherry picking as some assert, merely a business environment in which it's his way or no deal.

Without sounding racist Khan has a typical attitude of people from ****stan and India of having family members handling everything for him rather than professionals. Worked for a few company's like that with family who haven't got a clue in senior management. As Jeff says this kind of thing will keep happening.

I get your point. Being an American though I don't think you fully appreciate the set up over here. Sky is HBO. But there's no Showtime, or even ESPN, Versus, whatever. The BBC haven't shown boxing in years. ITV picked it up for a while but it's gone again. Setanta threw around alot of money and went bust because they spent too much. Sky is the big thing in subscription tv, particularily sports, and if you want to make any money in this country, it's with them. Khans' now pissed them off by pulling his fight from them after they'd already been hyping it and filmed a documentary for it. That could keep him off Sky forever, we don't know yet. He's done the equivalent of ditching HBO to appear in those latin fury independant shows Bob Arum does. Not smart thinking financially speaking.

I think that will be the verdict as there is quite a large group beginning on facebook to boycott it!! People are not happy sky advertised it and now its gone pay per view with primetime!! It's not about the £15 it's about how Khan said in the papers he is willing to lose out this time to give something back to the fans. What a hypocrite.

    1) Its not a pay per view fight. Khan is a PPV fighter i will add, but against other PPV fighters, which makes a PPV.
    2) The undercard is embarassing and not worth £15 PPV although the berto ortiz fight is their, but for us UK fans there are 4 good live streams for that fight:good
    3) Should of stuck with Sky sports 3 and put on a show for us FANS and gain more for your PPV with Bradley.
    4) Dodgy family management just does not work!
    5) I would pay Hundreds maybe even a thousands if i could afford it to watch you against prescott again!!!!!

Khan is a greedy twat and is ripping off the fans

Sky threw out the card cause 2 of the 3 big fights got cancelled

Now Khan will go PPV with a **** main event and garbage undercard regardless

    Greedy twat
