Very well said, I would actually pick Alexander over Khan in a fight, but the level that they have fought at is very similar, so can't understand why some ppl slate Khan, he certainly doesn't deserve it.

And i haven't heard many (if any) slate Alexander, Daryl you do come across as a hater also. Why can't ppl try an see things without rose tinted glasses and appreciate boxers who actually want to fight. And to the orignal thread starter, how is Khan like Haye, he is fight in again so shortly after PM. That couldn't be more different.

At least lets hear the name of his next opponent ok. It might well be one of this big names at 140 and besides, whats wrong with Casamayor and Katsidis? Both top names and legitamte world class operators. He could pick Madina, or Alexander. We dont know yet lets just wait and see.

Thats what i am saying, Bradley, Alexander, Maidana, Khan are all top fighters and i have respect for all (maybe bit more for Khan:yep) but hey lets hope they fight each other and we as boxing fans can see this next generation of fighters fight it out. :good

 

To be honest, Khan's game isn't that deep either... I am a big fan but even i'll say that the dude typically has one strategy for all his fights: He headhunts in combinations of 1-2, 1-2-3, 1-3-2, etc... His inside game and bodywork are more or less nonexistent, which is surprising cause the man's left hook to the body legiitmately almost dropped Paulie there.... If he hadn't held on it would have been a KD.

Both guys are young, and have yet to reach their stylistic/boxing IQ peak.

If by "the next David Haye" you mean that he's gonna become the undisputed champion in his division and then move up in weight and win a title at 147, you might be right.

 

True, he did manage to tag paulie consistently in the face(if i remember those compubox stats correctly), but he could have broken Paulie down systematically, stopped his legs and stamina with body blows, and then gotten a legitimate 10-count KO during the match rather than a stoppage if he had played his cards right.

 

I agree that body shot in the 4th should of been scored and maybe yes Khan should of focused more on the body.

 

How can anyone say Amir Khan is becoming a joke? He just a beat a top 10 light welterweight comfortably, in his US debut. What the f*ck else do you want him to do? Fight Tim Bradley tomorrow night in his back garden with his neighbours watching over the fence??

He's 23 and has beaten Kotelnik for the title, destroyed Salita and battered Malignaggi. Khan will fight Bradley, Alexander or Maidana very soon. The fact one is injured and two are already tied up in fights means it's not possible for his next fight.

i tend to agree...casamayor or katsidies?...did you watch when they fought together?...khan its one of those many many boxers thare are being carefully matched...thats why people were so against marquez vasquez,saying that hey should take easy fights,i thought..people just want to watch one good fighter against crappy opposition..and when thet do,they complain they got robbed paying for a crappy ppv..now even undercards are crappy...listen..old school says you fight the best.period!

The 'best' are ALREADY FIGHTING. People wouldn't give a **** if Khan fought a middleweight because if he had no power, they'd still say he's fighting no one with power.

They just want him chin checked and Katsidis is one pressure fighter with a punch.

This is reality, the best aren't fighting the best e.g pac-mayweather
