Please explain how he deserves a fight with Pacquiao?

His best win in well over 3 years (Devon Alexander) was beaten by Aaron Martinez Wednesday night. Sort of put that in some perspective.

So apart from wins well over 3 years ago at a different weight what has Khan done at welterweight to justify a Pacquiao fight?

So just after a couple days where khan said no more negotiations he is now giving pacquiao an extension. Lol

Remember when he said he would not mention Floyd mayweather again and then in every interview after he constantly mentioned his name.

Amir is a funny guy. A genuine walking contradiction.

"B-B But Devon is a top drawer welterweight..." No he's not and he never was. One good performance against the untrained wild man version of Maidana - who's come on leaps and bounds since then and would now pulverise Alexander - and people acted like he was the second coming of Whitaker. I'm glad Aaron Martinez put that nonsense to bed this week.

Now let's see how Thurman gets on against Porter and Khan against Brook in a bid to getting nearer to seeing who's really the man at 147.
