Beating Maidana is more impressive than beating Alexander. Alexander should have lost his last 3 fights. Maidana would make Alexander quit.

Lmao, what makes u think that, Urango was fcking garbage, yet was comfortably outboxing Alexander for long periods of their fight.

Maidana is a warrior, his efforts against Kotelnik and Khan overshadow anything Urango has ever done.

Stick to korean strawweights mate :good

Thought Khan did pretty well last night. Nothing wrong with the KO in my eyes, technically it might be 'low', but in reality that wasn't low. Hurt him around the belly button. You wouldn't be down like that otherwise, he was down because he was winded and it being low is a good cover story. We've seen with Bute, if you get hit right in the midsection its hard to get up.

Went how I said, Judah didn't get off and looked for single shots. Easy fight for Khan.

Khan's left-hook is so weird though.

Urango beat Ngoudjo handily, who, IMO, beat Paulie pretty handily. Urango also slugged it out with a true 140lb puncher in Bailey. Urango was a solid top 5 fighter.

As to your last sentence, you're a cheeky ****.

Does Bradley even operate at 140 anymore, I thought he was moving upto 147.

Anyone else notice how weird the mechanics of Khan's left-hook are? I wish they'd tighten it up. It's the most loopy round house left-hook theres ever been. It's tough to see that landing upstairs with any regularity at this level, which is criminal considering the speed he has. They need to work on that on the pads.

His jab worked well last night, still falls in with his right hand but Judah wasn't really countering and was overwhelmed so it made no difference. This was the first fight in a few that Khan's impressed me early on, he was timing his punches a little better and was just beginning to bust Judah up.

Yeah awkward left hook noticed it myself. Felt his footwork was more thoughtful but still at times lunging in and at times square and there to be countered. Think Judah made life hard for himself but Khan was clinical and classy at times.

He's tightened up quite a bit, but that shot in particular does remain messy. Especially if he's hoping to fight someone like Floyd anyway. Was impressed with howw he fought last night, as you predicted he never gave Zab a chance to get anything going, looking at his recent performances and bettering what his opponents managed.

It's because he mixes the left hook with the jab too much. It's ok at times but gets a little predictable. His feet still don't sync with his hands properly but he is very fast in both departments.

The left hook comes like a looping left hand but wider and ends up straightening and slapping by looks.

There was one bit where he lunged in square and throw 3 punches and i thought ''some things never change aye Amir..'' but progress none the less.

I rate his handspeed, heart and determination to succeed.

But I won't lie, it's true I find it really hard to pick him. When I try to analyse a forthcoming matchup, I try to go through both fighters styles and see which parts match up effectively against the opponents. Khan still has some very amateurish traits and a less than stellar chin, but fair play to him, he keeps finding a way to win (and win well) though, even I could see the likes of Salita and Paulie matched up well for him. Kotelnik (after subsequent performances) looks to be a win of some worth, and Maidana was a good fight against a top 5 opponent (I disliked how Khan had to go about his work after the tenth round, but he is compensating for a dodgy beard so can't take too much away from him there he still won widely in terms of rounds) and Zab, after the poor display against McCloskey, was another solid win and good performance.

I don't know how/when he'll win me over, but he's performing well. I still think he's very one dimensional, a good one dimension no doubt, but I still doubt his ability for long-term success and his ability to beat truly 'Elite' opposition one he moves up in weight (though at 147 there are only two 'greats' and one of 'em is his main sparring partner)

He's doing well with what he's got, and with a win over Bradley can prove himself the best 10 stone fighter since Ricky Hatton.

Talks of 'greatness' however are bandied around too loosely nowadays.
