Brook - Porter, Dan, Gavin (Ought've been Rios)
Thurman - Diaz, Bundu, Guerrero (Fighting Collazo soon so out of running)
Pacquiao - Wide UD loss so no chance and has shoulder issues
Cotto - Martinez, maybe Geale
Garcia - Herrera loss, Salsa, Peterson disputed decision win
Marquez - Alvarado, long term knee injury
Canelo - Angulo, Lara, Kirkland Best resume by far but will never trouble floyd and already packaged and sold too successfully
Matthysse is a dark horse but his Garcia loss is a big problem, let them have a rematch in Sept and make Floyd wait a bit.

 

If Brook is so easy then why not just beat him, shut him up, and make a career high 7-8 million payday?

This isnt a chess game isnt it ? if its personal ----> GREAT , you can mess him up in person , yourslef , and get paid for it , personal is usually the best reason to ask for a fight ..... he is ducking like hell , as other have said , brook bring everything to the table , a big crowd , great story and grudge match build up , a big title and big money , if Khan can secure a Floyd/Pac/Cotto fight , sure he can go ahead and say he went for the bigger name , but another Algeri ....... even the biggest fans should start seeing the true....

 

I know I'm taking a narrow perspective, but my idea of Khan was that he was UK's best boxer at welter weight. Then Brook & Hearns come along and they start poking Khan with a stick while he's trying to beat the Americans/ and other fighters from diff countries to "put England on the map", telling him get out of here, you're not the best, Brook is, and we want to be the front representative for England.

If he ignores Hearns and Brook, he stays representing the UK until Brook can reach a level to really threaten Khan's position, which might take a year or two.

ps. If they were to ever fight, I think Brook stops Amir in the 5th or 6th round.
