No, you don't get it, Khan's little twitter call outs are useless. We all know he's fighting Marquez next. Even Khan admitted as much today. Objective fans are not fooled by his nonsense. Khan can call out whoever he wants. We all know he's being protected and that their are certain fighters his handlers won't put him in with at this time. Expect a steady diet of non punchers and/or GBP fighters for the foreseeable future for Khan.

Well even me as big Khan fan will be pissed off if first half of next year he dont fight Bradley, Alexander or Maidana because i feel he is ready and if GBP keep holding him its a bad move.

GBP have a 3 fight deal with Khan Promotions, i hope the last fight in the deal is a big fight for him vs the top 140ers.

If JMM looks good vs Diaz and wins, then him facing Khan in Dec wont be that bad, i say it will be a good fight.

I actually don't even mind him fighting Marquez. It's not the top fight I want to see, but it's not a bad fight. Khan is 23 and has plenty of time to fight the top guys at his weightclass. However, that doesn't mean that he's not being protected. He clearly is and he clearly won't be fighting Bradley or Alexander anytime soon. Hopefully, he at least fights Maidana next year. That might not happen though if Maidana gets the fight against Bradley this fall.

Well yes GBP are protecting their investment, but you got the remember the big fights right now might not reward them with the type of return they would get down the line, bottom line is the money got to be right.

They already had Ortiz smashed up by Maidana, so i dont blame them to being a bit watchful who their new Golden Boy is facing.

Fights like Paulie and JMM might not top top fights but they are known names which if Khan beats well raises his stock even more and improves his fanbase.

And GBP will be hoping Bradley, Alexander can mean time make their mark aswell.

I think Khan has to next year fight the top guys at 140, i dont really see him not doing so, he has to.

Protecting their investment, meaning risk/reward, Khan is a investment in a new market (U.S), no point risking him yet for little reward, Khan is unknown in the U.S.

Their idea is for them to bulid Khan's name in the U.S market before the big fights which are higher risk match the money they are looking for and which makes sense financially.

Thats being protected aswell, but Khan is higher investment than anyone at 140, Khan is the money man at this weight.

People use terms in protecting a fighter, I am saying GBP are protecting their investment for the right price/risk.

The thing is no one at 140 right now is facing the best, lets hope the top 4 face off real soon.

When the dust settles, Khan will come out on top. :yep

If he's "the man to beat", what's the risk?

    Bradley's the man to beat.

Khan would never, ever, challenge a welterweight(puncher, at that), or accept a challenge from one.

If the "man to beat" only fights feather fists, and lightweights, that's a sorry ass "man".

Are Bradley's handlers paying people not to fight him? Are Bradley's handlers protecting him from any particular style? Are they handpicking Bradley's opponents? The answer to these questions are no. Meanwhile, Khan's people are paying guys to stay away from him, and keeping him away from punchers.

I can get you a quote right now from Shaw where he says he'll look for a big fight against Pac or May for Bradley, and if he can't get those fights, he can always have him fight Alexander. In no way is Bradley being protected. They have him fighting all types of guys. They have him fighting top JWWs, they have him fighting WWs, and they are trying to get him fights with elite WWs as well. They are not handpicking lightweights and featherfisted fighters like they're doing with Khan.

Someone correct me if I am wrong:-
#Khan has the best amateur record
    #Fastest hands
    #Longest reach
    #Best sparing partner (PAC)
    #Best coach
    #Weakest chin
    #Brings in most £

    At 140?
In my eyes that does make him the man to beat at 140, even with a flaw?

I'm sure that if you have an ounce of common sense, you know damn well that it's true. A major news organization reports it and GB never bothers to refute the story. What does that tell you?

That's not a style. No one even started talking about that fight until March. It's July.

How much you want to bet he doesn't fight Maidana next? Check, this out. I, BigReg, want to fight Floyd Mayweather Jr. this fall. My callout has just as much chance of coming true as Khan's.

This is based purely off of speculation, and a ridiculous argument. Right now Khan and Ortiz are having their fragile chins/hearts protected by Golden Boy. Who knows where they will be when the are 27. Bradley was strictly a local fighter who no one even knew until he was 25. He's come a long way in 2 years. If he had the fanfare when he turned pro like Khan did, who knows where he'd be right now.

No ****. They all want to get paid. I see him calling out Berto as well Where's the huge payday there? Would Khan ever dare to go to 147 and fight Abregu? Hell no.

He called out Alexander as well. Or did you simply decide to ignore that part?
