So if/when he eventually meets these guys, you're predicting the following:
    • Maidana to knock him out
    • Alexander to outbox him every minute of every round
    • Bradley to also knock him out
Some confident predictions there Danny Boy. It'll be interesting to see how they play out. :good

Khan is a great talent, i'm just not convinced he's tough enough. No doubt he's as skilled if not more skilled than the rest of the division.

The other 3 just seem to be tougher. I'd be very suprised if Khan can beat them all

To be honest i dont think he will fight Maidana as he is the hitter of the division unless he is damaged but if he did i think he would get KO'd.

I think Alexander is just a higher Calibre of fighter naturally and is developing much better as a boxer.UD in favour of Devon.

Bradley v Khan i think is Khans best chance and i honestly dont know how this would play out, if i had to say i would say Bradley Late KO

Presscott is not that good. That's been proven. How is Khan harder to beat than Bradley or Alexander, when they haven't lost and their fighting better fighters? Urango is a bigger puncher than Presscott and a better fighter as well. Ditto for Abregu.

Well here's the thing. If these were to take to place tomorrow, I'd agree with all of the above. Khan's simply not developed enough to get the best of these guys yet.

But one thing which nearly everyone here agrees on (including his most stern critics), is that he's got huge potential. It then baffles me why these very same people, are so eager to rush him and not allow him to slowly work towards that potential. Instead, they want him to face the Maidanas, the Bradleys and the Alexanders now, at a time when he's simply not ready for them. They want to see him get knocked out again, before he gets the chance to reach his best.

But people need to get use to the fact, that Khan's handlers won't be succombing to public pressure any time soon. They'll put him in with the above opponents when they know he's ready. When that time comes, I can't wait to read the excuses of those who said he's got no hope in hell of beating them. Because it's clear to see, the more time he spends with Roach, the more skills he's developing, and the more chance he'll have in beating the best of 140.

I like the kid's potential. But 140lbs is too loaded to hand it over to Khan right now.

Its true he has Huge potential which i would love to be fulfilled. And his handlers must advise him correctly but as a fan i want to see him atleast step up a little. Fighting Salita (ranked LWW no43), A totally shot barrera (suppose we cant say due to the cut),and Malignaggi (not really a challenge for the much bigger Khan) hasnt proved much he is just walking through them as we all expect.

I would love him to fight a ranked 8-12 LWW next not JMM or Morales its just delaying his potential. He will keep developing slowly whilst the division fight eachother and vastly improve.

No doubts Zab with his mind in the right place and his stamina up would be a contender to top the division he has it all.

But will he throw it all away again this surely is his last chance!! I hope not though as i love to watch him and he will make the 140 division even more "super"!!!!

i feel the same way... plus i feel zab truthfully has his head together now hes back at his true weight class.... these guys on this forum need to take zab seriously.. kahn is not the man at 140... let me say this again... KAHN IS NOT THE MAN AT 140!!!!! BRADLEY IS!!! and since bradley is chasing pac or may(stupid stupid stupid move) the man at 140 is alexander...you could make a case for madiana.. but kahn is at the bottom of all of them as far as im concerned....

let him prove himself.... the way yall are making zab prove himself!

Khan is still very much unproven yet at 140 against elite opp., kotelnik aside. I say kotelnik because most people keep ranking Maidana as no. 3 in the division. Khan definitely has the talent (amateur career suggests this) but like most British boxers, he is/was fundamentally flawed, i.e. no defense. The coaching in the U.K. is just not up to the same standard as in the U.S. (Calzaghe aside but Enzo based his son's style watching tapes of Leonard and other U.S. greats). Khan has improved immensely under Roach, much more measured offensively and now is learning the defensive aspect of the game which he never did when trained in the U.K. The amateur game is all about volume of punches and points scoring and he carried this philosophy over into his early career fights, right until he met Prescott.

Khan, until he met Roach, was always a K.O. waiting to happen. At least he is better equipped now to face the likes of Alexander, Bradley and Maidana than he was pre-Roach.
