Did you watch that fight? Hatton was holding way too much in the Urango fight. If i remember right, didn't Urango nail a big body shot that hurt Hatton in a big way that Hatton had to hold on for deal life?

 

Vargas had some MAJOR back problems that shortened his career way before it should have. Some say it was the fight with Tito that shortened his career but I don't think that was the case at all. Throughout his young career Vargas had issues with his back and that ain't no joke. When your back is ****ed up your world is ****ed up. Speaking from experience.

 

I think it was cause of steriods.

yea...saw it... Wasn't a great fight but my point was Ricky out boxed Juan easily and Juan couldn't find his mark on an easy target like Rick.....I find it difficult to think he'll have an easier time finding Paulie. I don't think Hatton was hurt at all in that fight....I could be wrong. Now you got me thinking a bit. Juan has power so he's definilty dangerous....I just think he'd have a hell of a time trying to pin Paulie down so he could land something meaningful.

Urango couldn't nail alot of shots on Hatton cause of Hatton's clinch fest. Alexander didn't do any of that. Instead Alexander became the first fight to stop Urango.

True! I'm not gonna debate that. He was huggin alot! But it did work and it's something that is legal even though everyone hates it. Alexander is a beast! He's a great young talent. But Tim and Khan are right there with him in overall ability and talent. Which is why the Jr WW division is on fire right now...especially with the old dog getting in the mix. Zab is gonna be a problem for all of these young lions. I don't think they are ready at the moment for Zab. They should try to gain some more experince and let Zab stay busy until they can build a MEGA fight for the new crop of Jr Welters.
