Amir Khan is the next PPV king

Back in his day before De la hoya fought on ppv, he was known as a future with very good power. Khan doesn't have a very good power at all. Man i swear these idiots that posting threads about Khan can be ppv king, beat Leonard, Beat Hagler, beat Duran is freaking god damn annoying.

He's fighting **** fighters and i dont see that changing anytime soon, i cant believe english tossers are buy this crap.

 

Other than having the looks, the style and the fans, being vulnerable is an extra excitement factor. Also, there's a huge amount of brainless haters with race and religion issues deep inside (not too hard to see as tens of millions of youngsters grew up in a very intolerant anti-Muslim decade thanks to political related media crusade), so that adds to the PPV buys too. You all know 3 out of 10 posters would pay hard cash to see Amir actually getting hurt, stretchered, and at least 2 others jump on his throat because of something he can do nothing about it (punch resistance), so it's safe to say Khan will bring a lot of attention to boxing and a lot of PPV buys on both sides of the Atlantic, he just needs to be built up properly in the US.

 

I think Khan could have a Prince Naseem style following in the U.S if he could just dig up some of Naz' magic when it came to entrances and personality.

 

he has been highlighted from the start of his career by frank warren,so is already a star in the uk,but to become a world star he needs to fight big world names and win.
he has the tools but he needs to protect that dodgy chin more.

no way,look at his numbers on box office,there was only 8,000 in attendance at the kotelnik world title fight,hatton drew more than that fighting aldo rios & carlos vilches,khan isnt a ppv fighter,despite the hype,end of.

 

Do you realize he's 22? Where was Hatton at 22? Fighting for the freakin' WBU title. He became pretty big later on so why Khan, a much better fighter overall with a disappointing chin, can't become just as big?

 

At 22 Hatton could not even convince his family to watch his fights.

 

And yes Khan will not be P4P king at best may be 5 to 10

 

at 22 khans already had 5 years of endless hype&publicity,at 22 hatton was pulling good numbers on sky sports regularly&was the best in britain coming off beating his main 2 rivals thaxton & rowland.khans mouth,attitude&jaw will stop him from becoming as big imo

 

you obviously dont know much about hatton if you believe that,check the attendance for the magee fight

 

Already is what in Britain? It's certainly not a real box office attraction. His last PPV done ****. As for a p4p fighter. At the moment he's nothing more than a hyped up no body.
