Very true, and Khan was silly to say Froch was 'boring'. But Khan's hate was just personal and he wanted to get back at him for the things he said about him.

Think, it's time to take your own advice, it does not take a marvel of modern science to realize that Khan getting knocked out by Prescott, a fighter who's lost to a journeyman, struggled with another, and was recently decisively beaten by Mitchell, is non-comparable to a losing a closely fought fight with Kessler. Khan has set himself for embarrassment because if and when he fights a fighter with a pulse, in the event he gets knocked out, do you honestly expect Froch, who's been fighting world caliber opposition for awhile now, to keep his mouth shut? ...Khan should have just kept quiet.

“They have laid out a plan that over the next 18 months I will be fighting the likes of Manny Pacquiao or Mayweather — big, big names,” Khan, 23, said. “Not just yet, maybe 18 months. But that is what we are aiming for. If they are seeing me with those guys, they must see something in me. Time will tell if they are right.”

What am I? His personal spokesman? I have no idea what he means by that? That's not even what I was talking about anyway. And even Khan will look back at that sentence and wonder what the **** he mean't by it.

But if you had to push me for an answer, I think Khan meant that if governing body of the title he holds, thought he was avoiding the guy he had to fight, then they would of stripped him. But I don't know how Maidana ducked him!

Basically the facts are there. They will fight, they just want extra money because its a HUGE risk, so they are building it up a little, I don't know why people are having such a hard time dealing with the fact that Khan has only just fought one mandatory and had plans for a nice US debut against a solid fighter who, if he looked good against, could really boost his appeal in america.

A good example of this would be one getting their glass house crashed to the ground by someone throwing stones, and then throwing stones back at pure concrete, you catch my drift eh?

Khan was made to look like a ******, simple as.

These childish remarks belong somewhere else :think

Why do I need to think? :huh

He once again used the words "The likes of" He isn't calling them out or directly saying he wants to fight that individual. Its been said so many times by Freddie and Khan and Manny that they will not fight because they are in the same training camp with the same trainer and they are friends. No direct calling out has been issued, so yeah?

Don't be silly he only fought Rybacki because his original fight was cancelled, it was last minute, so don't use that, it's a stupid argument.

Wait a minute are you actually trying to defend Khan?

    You must kidding right?

ABU DHABI - British boxer Amir Khan said on Wednesday he wants a future showdown with Manny Pacquiao and could beat the Filipino boxing sensation, rated by many as pound-for-pound the best boxer in the world.

“Boxing is a business and you have to fight the best out there. He (Pacquiao) is pound for pound the best fighter in the world and I think everyone wants to fight to best in the world,” said Khan, current WBA world light-welterweight champion.

“I think maybe in a few years time when I have the extra experience ... I think I’d have a shot at beating him. I wouldn’t want to fight someone if I didn’t think I could beat him,” he added, speaking on the sidelines of the Laureus World Sports Awards in Abu Dhabi.

Khan is no stranger to Pacquiao as the pair are now both trained by American Freddie Roach and have sparred together in the past, with Roach describing the fighters as the perfect foil for each other.

“The first time I sparred with him (Pacquiao) was about two years ago and I did really well against him. Manny said I was the fastest guy he’s ever faced,” he said.

“But that was then. Since then I’ve come on so much. I like to spar with him (Manny) now just to see how much I’ve come on because I know I’ve come on by far and I’ve got even better.”

Khan (22-1, 16 KOs) said he may spar with Pacquiao in the run-up to his May fight against Paulie Malignaggi (27-5, 5 KOs) in New York City, Malignaggi’s hometown.

The fight is part of Khan’s efforts to raise his profile in the United States that has seen him spilt with British promoter Frank Warren and sign with Los Angeles-based Golden Boy.

“I’ve just started training ... I’m very confident,” he said of his preparations for the Malignaggi fight.

Khan won a silver medal at the 2004 Olympics and was tipped by many as a potential future boxing star. He won his first 18 fights comfortably, but then got a reality check when he was knocked out by Colombian Breidis Prescott.

Khan said he is determined to set the record straight against Prescott despite opposition to a rematch from some in his camp.

“It’s one of those fights that I’d like have to shut a lot of critics up ... I think it is a fight in the future that people would be interested to see,” he said.

Khan’s challenge to Pacquiao comes just days before Pacquiao steps in the ring to face Ghanaian Joshua Clottey, a fight set up after a much-anticipated bout against Floyd Mayweather Jr fell through.

Pacquiao, WBO welterweight champion, was set to fight Mayweather this month, but disagreement over pre-fight blood testing procedures scuppered the bout.

Khan said the world needed to see Pacquiao and Mayweather go toe-to-toe, describing it as “the biggest fight of the decade”.

Or join a tournament as threatening and dangerous like this. So far, as a fan of Khan, I can't argue with ANY critic that says he fights carefully selected guys with low KO ratios, even as he steps up they're doing that shamelessly and I can't find a single Khan fan that can defend that. With all the big names in the weight category he's in you would expect him to fight a major undefeated name to cover up a loss he shamelessly avoided and doesn't want to talk about nor attempt to rematch.

All he has done lately is chase guys coming off brutal losses. Even before these guys fights he comes out shamelessly and says "We're definitely going for the loser of <insert fight here>". People laughed till they had enough, maybe he doesn't know yet that people were laughing all along.

If the loss came at a later stage in his career then his handlers would of put him in with him again, Khan was 21 and clearly had some big flaws in his defence and gameplan.

He needed to change things in his set up, and thats why he joined Roach, and in a way that loss was the best thing that ever happened to him. Look where he is now 4 fights later after loss.

Khan is digging at Froch tonight because when Khan at 21 got KTFO Froch came out and said Khan is finished, and that hurt Khan alot being an older British fighter he should of supported young Khan.
