He's most likely looking to guarantee a shot against Mayweather in England. He has to get that payday soon or get sparked by someone else for peanuts.

I'm pretty certain Mayweather will never fight in England. If Khan keeps winning, he can get Mayweather in the ring though.

I'm sure he won't have problems making a move to England. After all, he always spoke about wanting to perform in England and there's no other British fighter famous and easy enough than Khan at the moment. This will be easier than Guerrero/Ortiz and generate a lot more money and attention. I'm seriously expecting this fight to happen if Mayweather beats Alvarez next.

Mayweather is a Vegas resident. Therefore, he can train and live at home for the duration of his camp when he fights in Vegas. Vegas also has zero state income taxes. Therefore, he only has to pay federal income taxes when he fights in Vegas. Lastly, Mayweather has a deal with MGM Grand that pays him a lot of money.

All things equal, Mayweather can not make more money fighting in England than he can in Vegas. All things aren't equal though. In England, Mayweather would have to still pay US federal income taxes along with local income taxes. A fight at Wembley also can't generate the revenue that a fight at the MGM Grand can. Lastly, US PPV sales(the biggest revenue generator) tend to suffer when a fight is overseas.

With all that being said, I can't see Mayweather taking a pay cut and compromising is relationship with The MGM Grand to fight Khan in Khan's country when he doesn't have to. It makes no sense. I don't care what Mayweather says. He also says he wants to fight in New York. That won't be happening either. Expect Mayweather to fight the rest of his fights in Vegas unless he falls off.

That's very informative, I must say. If it doesn't happen in England then it will most likely happen in Las Vegas. Either way I'm fully expecting it to happen.

You think Khan is gonna get Mayweather without another win?
If that happens that is terrible Khan needs to at least beat someone half decent at 147, thing is everyone at 147 who is half decent knocks him out so I dunno what they are gonna do

He already fought Diaz at a welterweight catchweight and almost got killed. Khan and his team know that if they don't take a big money fight soon someone else will shatter those dreams. I can see Khan picking on someone safe next then moving on to Mayweather. I will be shocked if they seriously consider Alexander or someone dangerous.

Yeah thats what im thinkin, hes in a shitty situation, fight Alexander get knocked out and then no Mayweather fight

Or fight someone **** maybe get a Mayweather fight but the fans will be screaming hate because he doesnt deserve it

The only 2 people Khan might have a tiny chance with is Guerrero or Karass, if Khan could execute a perfect gameplan he might be able to outpoint Karass but i doubt it, maybe he could outbox Guerrero not sure

    Anyone else he's ****ed

Guerrero would actually be a good fight. He doesn't have a serious KO ratio and could be a solid test. Not to forget that he's Mayweather's recent opponent which should spark some attention. Karass would be too dangerous, the last thing Khan needs is a consistent aggressive opponent.

True, Khan vs Guerrero is a good fight if Khan wins he can say I beat the opponent Floyd just faced and Guerrero's power isnt that good so Khan has no excuses if he loses

Guerrero could do what Peterson did though and just smother him
