    I disagree with you guys on here. If he backtracked then it sounds like a weird backtrack. To me this sounds like Ortiz and other past Mayweather opponents. After the story got out there, someone from Floyd's team told Khan to stop announcing things ahead of time and Schaffer probably told Khan to take those statements back because nothing is set with Floyd until its really set and you dont want him to get upset & maybe backout. Just play it safe and take that comment back.

    Doesnt matter though, its like 3 fights off atleast so who cares

    Floyd must know he'll be copping heat from his critics for fighting a 140lber with Pacquiao and Martinez as significant fights available. Golden Boy might've told Khan to keep quiet until he has atleast a win at welter.

    yeah its in house business, but its nothing to do with maybe khan fite not happening- its a given:deal

    they dont want the idea , altho we all know..

    that he has no intention to fight PAQUAIO and has been ducking well well well in advance

    years !!!

    We all know Mayweather would beat him easy, but i hope they do fight just so Khan gets beating of a lifetime and shut up for good!
