I've never been a big fan of that theory TBH, I think the ratings committee do a decent job of keeping themselves separate.
That's a lie, I saw Oscar De La Hoya ranked #1, Hopkins #2 and Mosley #3 last week. They took it down quickly...
Sorry boys, I was just stirring up the pot. I know they are usually pretty spot on otherwise, as my original post stated, I wouldn't bother going on their website:good.
I would agree with this statement if it ever came about, but let's be fair and not condemn the guy on the basis of something you read - unless, of course, it's a direct quotation from him or a member of his camp in which case I haven't seen it.
Light-Welterweight ESB Champ: Manny Pacquiao 1, Ricky Hatton 2. Timothy Bradley 3. Juan Urango 4. Devon Alexander 5. Kendall Holt 6. Amir Khan 7. Marcos Maidana 8. Lamont Peterson 9. Andreas Kotelnik 10. Junior Witter these are the current ESB Brit Forum lightweight rankings. I tend to think Bradley should now be ahead of Hatton.

I should of put if he does then....it looked like i was taking the rumors as gospel. If he does then i won't be happy with him. I'm not one of these people that says you ain't a proper world champ unless you defend your strap at least once but i do feel that if you avoid defending your title against someone your trainer claims as a dangerous fight then i do feel your not showing signs of a champion. Is Roach doing the right thing if these rumors are true by keeping Khan away from Maidana...yeah course cos this is a crazy fight. Warren said a long while ago when Khan was saying he wants to become Britains youngest World Champion...Warren said yes he can beat a current lighweight champion but then Khan becomes the hunted. I can see why they would duck Maidana but it doesn't make it right imo and actually all the respect i had for Khan after Kotelnik goes back out the window again.
I agree....he's been more active at light welterweight in the last year. Form wise he's been top man and also he unified the titles and has beaten 3 world champions in a year. Although one fight was tainted with controversy i didn't see Nate winning that fight after the way he went about his work.
I agree totally about fighters who avoid defending against dangerous fighters not being true world champs. If Khan drops the belt rather than defend against Maidana as you've said I'll be the first one on his back. I don't like this idea of fighters walking round with a big 3/4 belt and claiming not to be ready for another fighter (ala Bute-Kessler). If you're claiming to be a true world champ you should be ready for all comers. However, I think it would be a good idea to wait until it actually happens before losing respect for Khan. That's all. :good
also proves that no matter what you achieve, you will still have your achievements diminished by a clique of sad ****s on an internet forum. :tired

I'm just saying if it does happen that's what i meant I totally agree with what your saying :good
