Amir Khan Must Fight Zab Judah Next

Alright let me put it this way. Next Khan wants in the UK. If he wins who you would rather he fights?

1. Alexander/Bradley winner will never fight in the UK
2. HBO will not offer much for a British fight so it will have to be SBO
3. Victor Ortiz will not be allowed to fight Khan just yet, GBP wants to milk that fight down the road as a massive PPV event.

So who then do you think Khan should fight in a homecoming fight if he beats Maidana, thats still a massive if? Please dont say McCloskey or Murray thats a joke.

Name someone credible as an opponent for Khan in the UK plz. Im saying Zab Judah is a great fighter and it will be a great fight to watch, Would you rather watch Khan -V- Murray than Khan -V- Judah? :rofl

 

If Khan fought McCloskey, Khan would be the one on the ground by the end of round 7 max. Youre completely deluded...he fights ***an, Salita and a very washed up Barerra (which should have been a no contest as all damage was done by a clash of heads) and Malignaggi and you're talking about his legacy. For ****s sake Khan didn't even avenge the most humiliating defeat I have ever seen a boxer taking, a BRUTAL KO in under 60 seconds...and youre talking about his legacy. LOL

You'd want to see him go after another fighter that was once upon a time fairly dangerous, (but isnt now) but is 10 years older than khan....his legacy so far is extemely cherry picked and unimpressive...fighting an aging Judah will make him look like an even bigger cherrypicker.

 

McCloskey hasnt fought anyone to warrent a Khan fight yet, As for Barrera -V- Khan, Barrera had the chance to say no more when he was asked by the referee if he wanted to continue, He wanted to continue through his own choice and the fight was stopped later.

As for the Prescott loss, Alot of Khans fights have been over by KO/TKO the first minute of the first round ala Earl, Medjadi, Salita, Barret, Martnyau, Bailey. That time he lost in the first round, Besides Prescott hasnt gone on to do jack. That being said I still think Khan should re-match him, Maybe even Prescott -V- Khan II in the UK would be a good fight. Doubt HBO will be interested in that fight though.

Khan -V- Judah is a good fight, Hatton didnt fight him and fought Tszyu instead of Zab, Warren tried to make the Hatton -V- Judah fight but Hatton wasnt interested in taking such a dangerous fight.

 

He is fighting Maidana anyway, Im say win or loose Khan -V- Judah is a good fight. I dont want to see a homecoming fight involved another tomato can ala Salita, Murray, McCloskey. I would much rather see Khan -V- Judah or Khan -V- Prescott II.

 

The only person that Khan has fought that is better than anyone McCloskeys has, is a faded Malignaggi (I wont even count the Barerra farce as its like me fighting Mohammed Ali today). Khan has ducked all the better domestic fighters on his shortcut to a belt. Khan only got a shot at Kotelnik because Warren was able to offer a massive purse for it. Kotelnik was widely regarded as the weakest belt holder in the 140 division at the time. McCloskey is better than anyone Khan has faced so far...Khan seems to continually go after older or smaller feather fisted punchers...to protect his fragile chin. The Maidana fight was only accepted as ducking him for any longer would've got Amir stripped of his WBA belt.


Ask the average non boxing fan who Judah is and they wont have a clue...i cant remember any of his fights being televised over here. Khan vs Murray has an angle....though Khan would expect Murray to move up in weight. Khan v McCloskey would have the interesting Ireland v England angle and there's plenty of rivalry there. A lot of people in Ireland, Scotland Wales etc love to watch England getting beat by any of the other Celtic nations.

Both the Murray or McCloskey fight would sell tickets here or in Ireland...Khan v Judah would sell **** all tickets and even less PPVs....a UK fight would have to make money in the UK...forget HBO and it being live in prime time in America.

 

Probably like the Haye v Harrison fight...an easy, low risk, money earner designed to increase Khans bank balance and to help him keep a hold of the belt for a bit longer.
