Khan just said on Soccer AM Carlos Molina will be his next opponent & confirmed Virgil Hunter as his new trainer.
Looking at the LMW's recent weights he's been fighting at around 151 in recent fights, hasn't made 147 since 2009 though. However, I'm sure Schaefer has said Khan is staying at 140. Interestingly, the lightweight Molina has a draw against the Mexican guy Crolla fought in Vegas.
Props to Khan if it's LMW Molina, a risky fight. But why would he move up to face him if its at 147 as I'd imagine it would be? EDIT: It sounds like its the Lightweight one. Still not a bad opponent, no real risk but that was to be expected.
Someone on the general says Khan said he's unbeaten so it's the lightweight one. http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=394398&cat=boxer
5ft6 non-puncher coming up in weight. Tbf though this will allow him to work on some new things with Hunter. And he's coming back from a pretty bad loss. edit: Good interview with Molina...http://www.maxboxing.com/news/max-boxing-news/the-epiphany-of-carlos-molina
