At the very least Ariza made Khan a more solid unit that was less likely to fail, Khan no longer has that to fall back on...

My comparison with Bobick has not been lauded. That's a shame, it's a valid one.

Khan is not improving lads. And I've been saying it for yonks.

He has been matched with People, who on Form, He should have Beat. So I ask, where is the improvement. In experience yes, in Skill set No.

How many young fighters in there prime has khan beaten? he scraped a points win against maidana, the other 3 dude's prescott, peterson and garcia exposed him. I really cant see anyway back for him. he's going to fight an old past his prime nate campbell in his tune up and after that hes going to think of himself as king ****ing kong and start calling out all the big names in boxing.

Some interesting points , yes i began ranting earlier and then couldn't help but digress and go slightly off topic !!!

Ill try and keep this as simple as possible

Khan lost a fight i believe he should of / could of won handily , his defensive flaws were shown up here probably more than any other fight i think i may have ever seen Khan in , thats worrying !!! , the basic stuff Khan " wasn't doing " is plain and simple " wrong " for this level !!!

His preparation for this fight was not as sharp as previous fights under Freddie Roach , that much is clear , forget behind the ropes and brief footage we seen of him sparring I'm not talking about that , I'm talking about strategy , I'm talking about game plans , I'm talking about drilling a fighter so he can't be drilled anymore and he just does what he's supposed to do

In Khan's case , he's supposed to fight with lots of lateral movement , do not throw hooks , punch straight in 2's and 3's , set a pace , when he does have to defend hands high and tight and chin tucked in , does this sound familiar ??? :

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nnWraArkVt0[/ame]

The fact Khan stood static in the pocket with a hooker is down to one thing , lack of strategy , and a lack of strategy is poor preparation , and poor preparation is naivety , arrogance and complacency

All this coupled with the fact that he has no inside game and no natural defensive ability is simply not acceptable IMO and Roach and Khan need to part ways immediately , thats my opinion

Then comes the delusion and the bull **** , you quote that Hatton, Froch and Haye have all had a hard time accepting there defeat , agree'd , some of the shite Hatton and Haye came out with was pretty ****in comical to say the least, but they were soundly beaten by top level fighters , Wladimir , Ward and Pacquiao are all top level , elite fighters , Danny Garcia is not , and Khan was brutally KO'd , the comparisons don't compare , out of the above 3 Hatton was the only one who made glaring defensive mistakes and held his hands up and said , " i was face first with my hands round my waist " , yes there was other garbage like i was winning the round by a country mile and other nonsense but he accepted he fought badly

Khan is not accepting that he has made any errors , or that he has any flaws , how is he supposed to improve ?? how is he supposed to address what went wrong ?? , yes he's saying " we made a mistake " well it wasn't just one was it , it wasn't like he switched off momentarily and just got caught by a wonder punch , he made critical errors that he should not of been making , errors that in the past he's addressed and worked around

Ive already eluded to the Kotelnik fight , and ill go back again , the reason being is because i believe the Khan that fought Kotelnik would of battered Danny Garcia without taking many shots / if any of significance , and would of conducted all of his work outside of harms way

So whats changed since then ??? , a lot of things , most of which are in this post above these words

I have a gripe with Khan because i think todays Khan lacks humility , even in the face being knocked out he's still talking about Floyd Mayweather :huh , and believe me i was once a fan of his , i still am actually , i was sitting in shock and disgust at the way he lost to Garcia , and I've been to see him live 3 times , the change began when he began to believe he was better the he was , he needs to start again , he needs to change his lifestyle and his team , and most importantly he needs to be honest with himself , address the problems , please , because if he does he can be a terrific fighter

Im not sure how exclusive Pedro Diaz is to Cotto but thats a man who will by default make a man humble , and train a fighter properly , no stone left unturned and every minor detail under a microscope , thats who Khan needs !!! , like i said I'm not even sure he'd train Khan but if there was a chance he would Khan should be there like a shot

    What a top post.. :good

Yes the tactics for the Garcia fight were shocking, let's not hide the fact to both trainer and fighter have too big heads, if Khan thinks he is too good then it's his trainers job to bring him back down, I was hearing Roach say stuff like my fighter is levels above Garcia, they both took Garcia lightly and now Khan is paying the price.

Khan clearly does think he is he is too good and I hope this defeat highlights his limits, he is a good boxer but not a good puncher, do what your good at, and don't try to be something that your not.

i agree with this, i felt a bit bad for him after the prescott loss and i thought he surprised me with the level of opponents he beat. but after maidana he believed he had the beating of mayweather and started calling him out, a fight he barely survived against a boxer whos been proven as a crude slugger. instead of learning from the maidana fight he just became big headed and arrogant, likewise with the peterson defeat, he blamed his loss in the peterson fight against petersons use of steroids not his flaws as a boxer. He deserves to be mocked for being so naive, arrogant and foolish.

I think Khan's gameplan differs from Roach's, ive said it in a different post that i very much doubt that Roach wants Khan to box like Pacquiao 2.0 but Amir seems to be convinced that he is. The Pacquiao influence on Khan appears to far outweigh the Roach influence.
