A sign of things have come to an end is when a fighter stops listening to his coach it's almost like Khan wants to prove to Roach I am your No.1 fighter not Manny.

Khan needs a live coach who picks up on his every mistake from mitts to sparring, Khan needs a black American coach who is tough on him and the trainer always stays in control and make Khan a student of the game again, drill the fundamentals of boxing into him.

I also think Roach's health is effecting his coaching now sad to say.

go getta your excuses are ****ing poor, Khan will never ever have a decent defense, he not diverse enough, hes thick, like no intelligence at all, he is what he is a decent fighter with great speed and workrate but ultimately he has no chin no punch resistance, and a rubbish defense.

He can leave roach, train with richardson, and he may win his first couple fights and you will say woohooo hes back with a new defense look at him go, but as soon as he fights a versatile elite fighter he will be knocked out.

He wants to do well and he strives for the best which is great, but after poor performances and being knocked out twice, he needs to face reality he is never going to take a good shot, and he has come to far doing what he does to change.

:goodgood points, i think Steward would be ideal, not sure if Khan would be happy under his tutorship though.

Excuses after excuses, ariza this ariza that then he hired some other ******, then he wasnt happy with him so he re-hired ariza, then khan performed below expectations again so he fired ariza and hired hayes s+c coach, now roach hasnt taught him the inside game, well for **** sake when is khan gonna take responsiblity and own up to the fact he cant take a ****ing punch on the chops.

Well Khan is at a very important stage of his career, his next move could be his last move, I think there is no more room for enjoyment, Khan has to pick someone who improves him like it or not.

Believe me if Khan don't get this next move right, it's all over from him.

All I am saying Khan will be more successfull being a pure boxer trying to protect his chin, not leaving it in the air.

Khan is not a puncher, hope this Garcia defeat has made that clear to him, if that has not then he is doomed.

I just cant see any coach changing Khan.
He may be able to follow a fight plan when its all going his way, but if he gets ontop of someone he wants to go for a stoppage. If he gets hurt he wants to go toe to toe to prove he s not hurt. He seems unwilling/unable to do anything else

  13. Roach has basically maximised khans physical abilities, but he has not taught him how to box, his lack of defence, inside game is shocking, he couldn't block maidanas slow arse uppercut, he didn't even consider raising his right hand to block Garcia wide, slow, telegraphed left hook, all he can do is run or foolishly get into a firefight, whoever his next trainer is has got their hands full because Khan is cocky and dumb. Plus he's set in his ways.

The best thing for khan would be to leave GBP, because they will keep throwing him in the lions den, and he will keep getting bashed up, he needs 4, 5 fights against hand picked guys to try out any new tactics, because if he tries to learn on the job against guys like marquez, he will get flattened

i agree i think he needs a row of warm up fights against different sorts of fighter, pressure fighters, tall fighters, counterpuncher type fighter and take it from there. i wouldn't mind seeing him in with katsidis, clottey, mike dallas jr and then have a rematch against prescott/peterson after that hes back in the world title picture. He should give up thoughts about retiring at 28 and try and learn more about the art.
