(25-1, 17KOs) sees no reason to grant Paul McCloskey (22-1, 12KOs) a rematch. Their bout at the MEN Arena in Manchester was stopped early in the sixth round after a clash of heads opened up a cut above the left eye of McCloskey. All three judges scored it 60-54." Im looking for bigger things like a fight with Bradley,I was beating Mccloskey easy.I think he took some good punches and surprise me and freddy, but i think if the fight would have continue,Iwould have hurt him bad.Nobody wants to see him hurt bad,I would have knocked him out." Khan said. "There's no need for a rematch:"

Shades of the Barrera debacle. Khan is basically a useless bum with an ego and a heading to be exposed again soon.

He doesn't want a rematch because he's a ***** ass ***** who is coddled and thinks he's better than what he really is.

    He's right.

Other than making him miss, McCloskey was doing nothing to make it a competitive fight. Khan would have found the mark more and more if the fight was allowed to continue.

I'm really not convinced he would "have hurt Paul bad" but they could fight a hundred times and McCloskey wouldn't win once.

Because he is overrated as ****, he could barely beat a euro level fighter i no he won every round but he didnt do anything special, and the talk of him fighting mayweather is hilarious

your getting the wrong end of the stick here, yes i understand he won every round, but the talk before the fight of khan KO'ing mccloskey and mccloskey wasnt in his league is far from true. Khan isnt all that he was made out to be

from khan's perspective it doesn't make sense at all. no-one would want to see this fight in the US, and in the UK with the problems he had with Sky regarding this bout he'd have to be a massochist or damn stupid to want to go through that again. this was a nothing fight really, i bet he wishes he'd fought prescott now
