I don't even like Khan but he's right about this. That cut was worse than a lot of people made it out to be and it would have gotten way worse and Mccloskey would have been KOed in the next few rounds anyway. No doubt! And if he somehow survived he wouldn't have won a decision. Khan isn't that good but Mccloskey is a tomato can from hell. Give it up.

Were you impressed with him when he fought Maidana or Kotelnik?

When Khan is sh*t he still looks better than Bradley who has never impressed.

I have no idea what the **** people are talking about. I watched the fight and I saw one guy throwing next to nothing and the other guy throwing loads and landing some good shots, and as for Khan getting nearly "Slapped to the canvas" in the second round, that's some extreme wishful thinking right there. A rematch would be ****ing pointless, yet again, loads of newbie posters coming out from nowhere talking utter ****ing **** because they are upset that Khan has once again won another fight. Khan looked sloppy at times and was too eager to put on a show for his home-fans, but at no point was he ever going to lose a fight to a guy who wasn't throwing anything back. A rematch would be pointless for Khan. I can promise you, if Khan did take the rematch, then he would be avoiding Bradley, that's what you little soppy ****s would start saying. Khan won, every single round, he was more active, looked sloppy and was too eager at times, but he was doing more, landing more. End of.

Yeah i was impressed when he fought kotelnik and maidana, but when he fights a high quality slick ficker or a southpaw i think he may be in some bother.

I think bradley has the beating off khan, but should be a very even fight

khan needs to improve drastically before going after p4p fighters.

:good Well said! Alot of haters just annoyed that Khan won. I think this fight may end up doing Khan alot of good, he'll make sure he's more composed and doesn't waste punches.

If it wasnt for the cut, im not even convinced he would have beat Barrera, who was starting to come on.

Basically, to sum it up, it went like this:

    • McCloskey came with a very negative game plan - use the awkward southpaw style to duck, weave and avoid shots. But he threw **** all back.
    • Khan, eager to impress, would launch his usual quick flurries. The first few would miss, but the odd one or two would tag the elusive target.
    • McCloskey continues his plan of 'make him miss, but not make him pay'.
    • Khan slowly begins finding the mark more and more.
    • McCloskey low-hand stance isn't doing him any favours.
    • Khan's getting stronger (shades of the Malignaggi fight)
    • Clash of heads, McCloskey has a horrible gash.
According to some, Khan got exposed here because the man he was fighting didn't come to fight.
