Cheers Laz. I still can't understand how it would have dented Khan's reputation. I agree with Frank Warren - it's a poor job by his new handlers. A 23 year old who has had only 12 rounds of boxing since the Kotelnik fight (which was a year ago!), will now remain inactive for 8 months!

Yeah. Dissapointing. He needs to be as active and Khan is still pretty green and needs the experience and the rounds in.

Oh and I just found this article. Frank wants Khan back.

Oh there's no doubt about it, he would love to have his old Golden Boy back, especially now that his plans with Mitchell have been shattered. Khan's decision to move to the US with GBP was a brave one, but I've always felt that his career would have been in better in the hands of Warren. When it comes to developing fighters and easing them in to big fights, very few people have mastered it like Warren.

But with that said, at least he's in the hands of Roach - who we know is one of the best match makers in the game.

i think mitchells plans havnt been destroyed its a set back he can come back with more focus and concentration and also decide "im not gonna try to go toe to toe anymore imma stick with my boxing" he was foolish to believe he could blast out katsidis but its a learning curve that he learned the hard way....JUST LIKE KHAN!
