Let them support Khan, I like Khan even so his chin is a bit glass. He's fun to watch and despite the fact most of what comes out of his mouth is annoying, he's likable when he's not talking rubbish.

Besides Khan gets in good fights! what's not to like about that.

The point I was trying to make there was barring the Paulie fight Khan doesn't win wide margins. I thought Khan won atleast 9 rounds out of the 12 for the Marcos fight but then that comment which Larry said 'Could the winner of the fight be determined by an elbow that hit referee Joe Cortez' comes into mind and then Roy did that irritating laugh that he always does whilsts commentating. But I give Khan leeway with that fight.. he showed heart and guts.

As for the Judah fight he (Khan) was winning all of the rounds. Seemed to me as if Zab wanted a way out as soon as that upercut hit his body. Zab maybe was holding onto his balls cos he wanted Khan DQ'd. But what if Khan had gotten DQ'd?

As for the Peterson fight, For a boxer who has no inside game he didn't do too bad. Won the fight by 1 round. Me personally... i would have scored that fight as a draw.

Look at this pitiful ass alt here and this pitiful ass thread.

This is the problem with most boxing fans. A loss, is a loss, is a loss. The greatest boxer to ever fight had a few losses. It's not a big deal.
Amir Khan has two career losses, thats it. One was a pitiful ass fluke that made Khan wake up and get more serious about the fight game, the second was a ridiculous hometown brewery that came right out of a movie script.
The Evil Hometown: where boxing hasn't been in for decades.
The Evil Ref : Joe 'Thunder' Cooper who people were suspicious of before the fight even took place http://boxingalongthebeltway.blogspot.com/2011/12/local-referee-thunder-cooper-selected.html
Fishy Judging Scorecards over-seen by a mysterious man in a black hat.
And, to top all that off..
Evil Challenger: Peterson was on PED's.

People don't like Khan's success because he has had hard moments in the ring.

Khan needs more improvement to be great and I've said over and over that he needs to leave the Wild Card gym and get a new trainer, but even as he is he beats most fighters out there today, and with more tuning he'd be an even more impressive fighter.

Garcia better be a lot tougher than he has appeared. Khan is going to dust him off proper.

This aint no thesis that I have to site my sources and reference properly. The point I was tryna make was Khan fanboys believe he is the best fighter just cos he has fast hands. They forget to appreciate that he has weaknesses. When they talk about him it seems like they are imagining Khan as Roy (who had no apparent flaws and was good in every department).

Amir Khan aint no where near a Roy Jones, he won't ever be great if he stays with Freddy Roach, Roach has his hands full.

Amir Khan IMO should get with Emmanuel Steward. Why?
Because, he has the potenial to be a reboot of the Motor City Cobra (the bri'ish version).
If Khan could get with Emmanuel, I really feel Steward could knock the rough off of Khan and polish him up.

You don't even know Roy's basic career. You say he lost as he moved up from light heavy. WRONG. He won. He won the WBA Heavyweight Championship a record that had never been accomplished by a boxer who started at MW then for 106 odd years. That record hadn't been broken for a reason. The biggest mistake Roy made was to move back down to LHW. We all knew loosing all that muscle mass had a huge affect on Roy. He was no longer the Superman we witnessed whilst growing up.
