lol warren got told by khan

he tries to rip his fighters off which is why the big ones leave always. as soon as calzaghe left warren because warrens was getting him the big fights he withheld the millions he owed calzaghe which led to him getting sued and starting chatting all sorts of rubbish

    slimier thing happened with hatton

Money wise and gettin exposure in the US, signing with with Golden Boy appears to be the right move.

However at just 23 years old, and with question marks still surrounding him, Khan is the type of fighter who needs to be thoughtfully guided in to his peak. Hate him all you want, but Frank Warren is/was the ideal promoter for a fighter like Khan. He would have brought him up step by step, and given Roach plenty of time to work and develop Khan to the level where he would be ready for the elite dangerous fighters.

I agree with what Dibella recently said about Khan. He may well be a star in the UK, but he's a nobody in the US. He's not a Naseem Hamed where he brings the glamour and extravagance with him. Making it big in the US will not be as easy as it was here in the UK.

That being said, full respect has to be given to Khan. Unlike his predecessors (Hatton and Calzaghe), he appears to be very determined to escape the comfort zone and make it big on foreign soil.

Wonder if this makes a possible Ortiz fight more likely. Probably does at some stage but not for a long time.

    Anyone, anywhere, anytime.

    Just not Maidana, now.
