Khan is ****ed, did everyone forget what happens to every fighter that signs with GBP?

 

With Khan now signing to Golden Boy and moving to U.S to fight at the young age of 23 Khan is taking a risk not many fighters from the U.K have done at this stage of their careers. Golden Boy will not be feeding Khan no washed up or meaning less fights, looks like they are opting for Malignaggi as their next opponent for Khan something which Roach Khan's trainer also wants. Roach has also pointed out that he Khan can beat Maidana Khan’s mandatory but not as his next fight, he wants Maidana after Paulie fight. Roach has also stated that Khan will not be giving up his belt. Maidana probably will be offered money to step aside and wait for Khan later this year as both of them are co promoted by Golden Boy lets see what happens.

Yes, that aspect does make it a rather strange "Switch". After all, Amir must have at least been aware of the Manny-Floyd fiasco, and the inter-camp animosity!!

Looking at it from another angle, how about this? GBP want to sign a fighter from the same gym as Manny!! Does this mean that GBP believe that Amir is "Clean" but his sparring partner is "Suspect"?

 

Khan might be young but Im pretty certain any fighter from the UK with the same exposure would do the same, he is a world champ now and needs to cash in as much as he can before his china chin gets him in to trouble once again.

Paulie as his next fight haha, then maybe Juan Diaz then who knows another Golden Boy fighter who cant punch for ****.
