His speed gave Canelo a bit of trouble but it was just a matter of time, Khan always got nailed flush eventually in his big fights, he could never beat a champ at 154 or 160.

Just because khan gave your hero canelo fits doesn't mean he does the same to pbf who would've clowned him.;)

Speaking of giving heroes fits, lets not forget that Canelo gave your hero fits. Canelo made Floyd flinch constantly and busted him up. Canelo took Floyd's best shots and ate em like skittles, taught ya boy how to fight on the ropes and landed a 12 punch combo on Floyd.

Canelo stepped up and did what Floyd wouldn't, he fought Khan after Floyd ducked him and knocked Khan out cold, something Floyd would never have done in a million years with his brittle hands. :sisi1

That's funny because you're the only person on this site who thinks canelo gave pbf fits. I'll let you carry on though.:)

Neither really deserve it, but Khan probably deserves it more. He was considered by many to be the best 140-pounder for a few years and had a more memorable career. Kotelnik, Malignaggi, Alexander, Maidana, Judah, Algieri, Collazo, arguably Peterson.

Jacobs has some decent wins but not a standout career. He caught Quillin cold in Round 1, KO'd Sergio Mora, got an SD win over Derevyanchenko, gave GGG a close fight. He's a good fighter but the HOF is (ideally) more than that.

Neither seems even close to me. I really like Jacobs and no ill will towards Khan but HoF should mean more. Ideally, it means beating another HoF guy or ruling over a division for a long period of time when no other HoF guys were around to fight.

it's pretty wild to me that "won a few rounds against ggg and canelo" is an argument people are making to put someone in the hall of fame.

at least with gatti the guy was pretty famous

Do you feel Khan could have beaten every fighter Floyd beat? Floyd beat a green Canelo but he also would have beaten every other fighter than Khan ever lost too, would liked to have seen Brook v Floyd though.

    Neither

Amir has been in fun fights and had couple top wins. He should never see the Hof

Jacobs lost to the greatest fighters of the era and pushing them close isn't enough

Even there, Khan's successes tend to be overestimated. He took the first two rounds from Álvarez on activity and a smattering of flashy but ineffectual connects. Any discerning scorer shouldn't have him winning a round after that, Canelo had taken his measure and was slipping and blocking everything while doing the better scoring work.

Flag bearer?? Sports go through cycles of popularity....Khan perhaps was in the right place at the right time....but i think u give him more credit for something thats circumstantial
