Lol, guys, come on, I'm all annoyed about this as well but I think too many of you are blowing this way bigger than it needs to be.

Let's not forget! Amir is 24, it's his 25th fight. There's always problems along the way in a fighters career. Is it going to kill him that his fight is not on Sky? Hell no. Was his fight with Malignaggi on Sky? No.

Just chill. Fine, it might be on Primetime. Fine, we will have to pay 15 to watch but if you don't want to pay, the don't. I'm not paying, but obviously, I'll still be watching ;)

The Channel should be told to us tommorow. The fight isn't in jepoardy.

i think its maybe the way Khan conducts himself by surrounding himselfs with parasites .that annoys boxing fans

It's not going to kill him, but it could seriously hinder his working relationship with Sky. Whichever way you put it, him and his team are acting like a pack of idiots. With the choice between Sky Sports and Primetime he should have been biting their hands off to stay on the Sky platform.

Why would you pay the £15 for it on Sky Box Office but not on Primetime? :think

If Khan does not have the balls to rid himself of those bumbling fools, he deserves a spanking. The making of this fight was a calamity and this latest twist is the icing on the cake.

Exactly. Its a dumb move and even if Primetime sold it for £7.99 it still wouldnt matter as so many people have no idea primetime even exists.

Sky have enough boxing to do just fine without Khan and Khan's people are very stupid if they think Sky are gonna come back running desperate for Amir Khan. Its not going to happen!!

Khan is managed by idiots. From day 1 this has been a joke. You had a PPV date with Sky where Khan's team couldnt even find an opponent and now this. A total farce!!

Eh, he seems fine to me.

Nah, it won't hinder that relationship. Money talks mate. After Haye, who is there for PPV status? Haye's retiring this year. Who's left? DeGale? I don't think he will. People don't like his attitude.

    It's just one fight.

I wasn't going to pay for it anyway, I'm watching it elsewhere. It's not worth it, but if I had the choice, I'd want to watch it on SBO. Their pre-commentary and build-up is just a hell of a lot more interesting and they hype it up more.

Agree with every point you've made. Sky have their superstar in Haye, Khan doesn't bring in anywhere near his numbers. They won't be begging for him to come back any time soon. Either Team Khan need to gain some sense or Amir needs to grow a pair and tell them where to go.

Also, gotta love Jushin Liger. :deal

De Gale doesnt need to be liked. He will do well as there will be enough people that will pay to watch him lose. His got charisma, he can talk and as long as he keeps winning he will be a star.

Khan isnt much of a dent into the Sky PPV revenue. Khan has never been a draw and that fact that warren is doing another PPV suggests they for now are happy with that. Not forgetting even Haye does quit his fight v Vlad will draw huge huge numbers which will set sky up nicely just like the Haye v harrison fight did. No way is Sky fretting over losing Khan.

Money does talk but khan is stuck as there is nowhere else for him to go. ESPN aint interested in boxing, terrestrial tv will never pay him much and primetime is a unknown channel.

Khan may well be back on sky tv but he wont get anymore than he does now.

I hope not mate, but it's gotta be a kick in the balls to mess up their scheduling and move to a competitor's station. The winner of DeGale-Groves is their main hope I guess, James would definitely need to tune up his attitude though. Other than that, they'll most certainly have Froch who I'm sure they'd be able to turn into a success with a big marketing drive.

    And fair enough pal. :good

I'm not sure JDG will do well on PPV until later stages of career. He obviously riles many of posters on here as well as fans in general and his style isn't the most pleasing for casuals.

I think PPV shows are now mostly built of back of strong cards rather then one fighter. I don't see many PPV stars coming through at present who have cross over appeal.

    Gavin maybe not sure...?..

The thing is not everyone can be a PPV star. Maybe Khan and his team just need to accept that he is never going to be what Naz, Hatton or Haye are.

Just look at Great fighters like Mosley who cant draw a dime on PPV in the US on his own. While mayweather who's style is loathed by many is a huge huge draw. Calzaghe was never a major draw. Maybe its time to accept that his not going to be that cross over mainstream star.

Khan can still make great money without being a PPV star. One thing for certain is being on PPV on primetime will only result in less buys.
