This fight would still be going ahead if Khan had decided to rematch Bredis Prescott - the rematch, is a dream interms of publicity and easy sell rather than a fighter nobody outside of boxing would have known.

If Prescott had been chosen as the opponent this fight would have done well on PPV and still be on Sky.

Yeah, if you haven't registered before. If you've bought a PPV off them before then you're already registered with them so need for the extra fee but a lot of people wanting to watch this fight won't have bought a Primetime PPV before and this extra fee will **** them off.

  3. Lol i dont know who the hell is going to watch it on primetime

It doesn't even grab boxing fans it seems. It's an appalling fight to put on a PPV, certainly considering neither has had a defining fight.

Just checked and its £2.50 effictively meaning this fight to 95% of people would cost £17.50. Are they having a laugh?

So it's going to be £17 for a European level fight with an absolutely shite undercard?

This is going to bomb big time.

I would absolutely love to see the buy figures for this one!

If they round up to the nearest 10,000, we'd still have only 10,000 buys.

The saddest thing is that they'll still sell reasonably well. Even if they only get 10,000 buys, that's still £150,000 in tv revenue. Does anyone really think that sky would be able to even come close to that for a regular sky sports channel 2 hour slot?

It's a shame that this is so messed up but it's all down to greed and Khan trying to earn as much as possible from a relatively straight forward homecoming, tune up alphabelt title defence.

I agree with what you're saying but i doubt Khan would get all of the £14.95 for each buy. I think it will more like be half of that which is even less revenue!
