Amir Khan points out mystery man interfered with the judges, Who is this guy?

IF Hat Man had no reason being there, doing what he was doing, then he's right to ask these questions, and demand a rematch. Wouldn't you?

 

If he is there illicitly, the fight has to be declared a no-contest. Khan has been pretty pathetic in general since the bout, but it's only fair on BOTH fighters and indeed the sport of boxing that the result is struck from the records if someone has interfered in any way with a judge.

 

The judge whose scores didn't correspond, was Hill's. Exactly what round(s) were changed or weren't added up correctly, is impossible to know at the moment (this is what the officials are investigating now). Because here's what Khan and his team, I think, are questioning....

• All three scorecards - WBA, IBF and DC Commission - get their info from the exact same source and should therefore be consistent throughout.
• All scorecards, it's safe to say, were consistent with two of the judges. However, Hill's was different.
• When Hill's was tallied up, the WBA official had the fight a draw (Schaefer has a couple of witnesses who saw this, apparently). So there's been a discrepency somewhere (the discrepency is not the crossing out of the scores in the 7th round, as that video is showing. Because if it was, the fight would have been tallied up in Khan's favour - it was accidently given 10-8 to Khan. But that's not what happened. The fight was tallied up as a draw originally. Something else went wrong somewhere)
• In order to sort this discrepency out, and find out for sure which scorecard was wrong, I assume they'll need all three scorecards.
• However, the IBF one went missing on the night, and that couldn't be found to be verified with. It turned up two days later, appearing to be a doctored one (according to Schaefer). He says the paper and numbers were too neat and tidy to be the original sheet made on the night.

Now, one question I have and I don't understand, is what happens to those individual judge slips that are passed to the commissioners? They are the original sources of scoring, and surely they'd be the most accurate ones?

I take it the WBA and IBF investigators will have already collected these, as well as all of the other scorecards, to find out exactly what the mistake was.

My bet, is that the WBA scorecard - the one that had it a draw - had it wrong. In which case, the decision was correct. But I don't blame Khan's team for questioning these things. Too much **** was going for them to just ignore, and not push for a rematch.

 

Or, if they can't get to the bottom of it, due to missing evidence or whatever, they should just order a rematch at the very least. Forget overturning decisions, etc. That's what Khan's team wants - the rematch.

As much as i dislike Khan i must admit that this needs to be investigated and the fight should be a NC if this guy had no official role.

All Khan is bothered about is that he has lost his big fight with Mayweather.
It is a shame I would have liked to see him get the crap kicked out of him.
He won me and a lot of people over with the Maidana fight, but he's really ruining his image with his constant whining.

The scores are available, please tell me which rounds you dispute on which judges cards.

 

Regardless of the score or the outcome how is any man allowed to come sit next to the official's during a fight and discuss the scorecards.

 

I'm not gonna even bother watching the vid.Khan really has gone way past pathetic on this.Right after the fight,Sky were saying there was a rumour that Khan had the nod,and I'm sure people from his camp verified that.That was wrong because you shouldn't know anything until the cards are read out.
You know the irony here? I think Khan would win a rematch,but he really is becoming a sad little whingeing ***** on this issue.

im not a major khan fan...but the fact is...rules were broken, therefore its a NC. Whats the point in rules if they arnt stuck too? Mayweather should have a loss V Judah too.

 

No rules have been broken, and floyd should not have lost to Zab , because the ref had already called a Halt to the fight BEFORE Rodger stepped on the ring apron .. Had Rodger stepped on the ring apron during the course of action floyd would have been disqualified.. Again NO foul..

In Kahn case he reaching for straws, he was warned and had a point deducted twice.
