    Your point?

I said Peterson handled him better, which he did, not got a more impressive-looking win on BoxRec.

Of course, nearly punched a hole in the guy's stomach.

While having an awful lot of problems with a very average operator.

Yep. He appears a fragile one that Cayo. Plus he is more flash/posing than substance.

Yeah and Maidana dealt with Ortiz better than Peterson did, so enough with this merry go round ****.

Maidana has faced some decent opponents and has only truly lost once.

But he will probably lose against Guerrero, so what? Maidana wasn't even my prime point.

Yes, a better version of Ortiz than the one Maidana faced. Peterson fought a weight-drained Ortiz, not a green and mentally fragile one like Maidana.

I don't think you can say that about Cayo, who didn't improve, and who was still ordinary.

 Don't tell me he was 'robbed' against Kotelnik. Do not tell me that.

Because that is ****ing laughable if you do. I mean, truely ridiculous.

You said if there was one inside fighter who could beat him, it was Maidana. It's not, because he's not an inside fighter, or not a good one anyways.

What is your prime point exactly?

Yeah maybe Khan was weight drained against Maidana too, and Maidana was probably weight drained against Morales, give a ****ing break with these excuses!

Name me an inside fighter that would get the decision against Khan then.... That was the main point to be honest.

Why ask 'who are the greatest british fighters' if you can't accept the answers? It's actually as impossible to rank the modern fighters against 'old fighters'. Who are you to say which is the 'better' way?

Question is, how many Fitzsimmons fights have you watched?

No, but Khan was weight drained against Prescott.

Look at Ortiz' upper body compared to his legs vs Peterson. Much like Khan at 135, his body is a V-shape, big upper body, very skinny legs. It's a sign of a fighter who is struggling to make weight. Khan didn't have such problems against Maidana, nor did Maidana have such problems against Morales.

It's not excuses, it's common sense.

Maidana's not an inside fighter. So, any inside fighter would have a better chance. Namely Bradley, though he's that versatile it's difficult to class him as simply an 'inside fighter'.

By the way, the claim that Maidana has only lost once is pretty silly, you silly person.

  15. It's exactly the kind of response I expected from you tbh. I thought of including Benny Lynch as my father is a big fan but what era did he fight, 30's? Boxing has developed as a sport and he was well before my time so yes, I don't know enough about him.
I did not put Hamed in because of his potential. I put him in in spite of his unfulfilled poitential much the same as you have just said you would. But your clearly looking for ways to peck through my response.

Let me put it to you like this. If Khan wins his next fight and goes on to fight Mayweather and defeat him, and continues to dominate and then one day faces Pac and beats him, will he not be the greatest British Boxer?. Then he has beaten two future hall of famers, and you can't say it's not going to happen because it's definately possible. I said potential. Didn't say its going to happen or looks that way, im saying it could do and if it did. Would he not be the greatest we'd produced?

I admit my historical knowledge of the sport isn't great. Im in my twenties and I don't study it but I am a fan, and I think my thread and opinion is a valid one.

Go ahead and play your trump card of historical knowledge (plenty of which i bet is at very base level).
