Those things are rubbish, you have to get the technique right, which is nothing like you would ever throw in a real fight.

In all seriousness if Khan was feather fisted guys would just keep walking through his shots to get to his chin. He's a boxer-puncher, not amongst the heaviest hitters but definitely gets his opponent's respect.

khan is a cherry picking fraud job who isnt even world champ, nor has he been since 2011
I agree with someone who said they should put all the Khan threads in one single thread, I know the south asian fans idolise him because they are so poor at boxing but come one man his abilty doesn't match all these threads about him

you are just a stereotype khan asian fan boy who doesn't have a clue about boxing and just follows khan if you think thats a good list of names :rofl

he lost to Peterson - so is that something to be proud of haha??! and Peterson is very average if that, he lost 11 out of 12 rounds against Bradley lol, got destroyed real quick by Matthysse lol, and struggled to get a draw against Ortiz FFs, he's proven to be very average only a Khan fan would say he's a top class fighter lol

Judah -completely past it , lost countless times, it's hilarious that you mentioned that win... why didnt you mention the past itBarrera cuts win as well lol

Kotelnik - the weakest world champ at the time, very beatable, basic average

Malignaggi - feather fisted so was a perfect cherry pick for khan, its nothing to shout about beating malignaggi

and Maidana lol - there was a thread not long ago, 90% were in agreement that he's a very average, gatekeeper slugger

  6. it is a poor list actually
    Judah was past it
none of the rest were ever p4p fighters or long lasting world champions
they didn't have long reigns at all.

plus Khan was the overwhelming favourite in all those fights which shows they were cherry picks, Khan has never been the underdog in any fight and has never fought an elite fighter, he's been getting beat off B and C level fighters, and knocked down by everybody, imagine what an elite fighter would do to him

this was posted by G Man in another thread, one of the best posts Ive seen on this forum

He wins, gets an ill-deserved title then his fans talk about him as if he is some sort of destroyer.

Occasionally his team make a mistake and the hand picked opponent actually fights back a bit, causing a brutal KO loss.

Not to worry though, because on Planet Khan the excuses are abundant, and his dopey fans are more than happy to believe them.

He didn't really lose, his opponent just got lucky, his trainer is too disabled or there was a strange man in the crowd or something, the very thought that maybe his opponent was the better man on the night does not even cross Khan's mind.

This is the very arrogance that causes people to dislike him both as a person and a fighter, the same arrogance that is seen as confidence and self belief by his naive fans.

He has speed, nothing else. This only works against small, limited guys or old opponents who won't really fight back.

I have tried to like him but there is nothing to like about him as a fighter or a person, absolutely zero. About the most endearing thing about him is his charity work, which is most likely just a PR stunt organised by his team, and in any case it is the equivalent of most of us putting 50p in a charity box.

All khan has is speed. Even that is declining tbfh.
Who ever doesn't think timing beats speed must be high.
That is probably the main reason why i think Special K would beat khan.
Brook has timing and power and also abit of speed. Khan just has speed and power? I dont think so.

I agree that he's not feather fisted but Peterson, Garcia and Maidana all did precisely that.

Ppl keep forgetiing Joe was a BIG puncher early in his career and due to hand injurys he couldn't put full power in his punches anymore as he always sprain/fracture his hands. It was simple case his hand couldn't handle 12 rounds of power he could generate. He also later in his career did much less sparing then before.

Thats why he adapted to his physical limits and didn't try to power punch as much as early in his career. It was the only way for him to prolong his career as the amount of hand injurys he had in fights/sparring.

I didn't say it was superb. I said it was not "embarrassing". Khan has had a decent career.

And a Khan "fan-boy"? Please. And I'm not Asian either (though I don't see many Pinoy, Korean or Japanese Khan fans). Try not to throw them all in together, eh :good

And finally, if you are "lol"ing at names like Malignaggi, Maidana and Kotelnik you must find 99% of boxing ****ing hilarious.

Read above. See you have to actually read the posts to understand the context, don't you?

    **** me...

Calzaghe looked like crap in that soccer am video...sweating...eyes as wrinkly as a ballbag...

Glad he's looking like he's sorted himself out these days and looks better again.

That punch machine video must be the best advert for cocaine as a performance enhancing drug (just kidding)
