Thats pretty low, considering how much hype this is getting. Also I think this may break 2-300k buys. Considering Berto just got paid over 1mil for drawing nothing, PBF got paid 8mil for drawing 350k against Baldo, it seems earnings in boxing is very inconsistent and is down more to the fighters negotiations skills.

Still a lot of money so cant complain...specially when compared to UFC fighters drawing 1mil but getting paid 500k...

It's not that low, they can only pay what HBO are prepared to pay for the fight. HBO say they have 2 million for it then GBP have to pay for the event with that... the costs of the event itself, paying everyone, purses. Doesn't leave very much.

it's reasonable, but still..there's no risk for GBP here, all their obligations are paid for.

That JMM-Katsidis, Berto-???? would definitely have lost money if not for HBO.

lol there is much more money in the UK market than that, what about Haye v Harrison, David Haye netted £5-6 million for that fight. and that was mainly a UK fight. So I rekon Khan will be making ALOT more than £100k from the uk revenues.

Didnt Victor Ortiz get like $400,000 against Campbell earlier this year?

Why the sudden huge drop in pay?

I'd think it'd take more than 100k of buys now Khan's been built up and is in his first real acid test. I'm also suprised Khan's doubling up with Warren, but I'd think that would increase the sellability

That's great for him. A top name, taking on a top threat, getting a good payday. Win, win, win.

Khan used to make this kind of money fighting bums. He deserves credit for being ambitious and fighting legit opponents. :good
