I think the only way amir can match his ego with his resume is to avenge his losses.. starting with prescott, then peterson, the garcia. i dont think he should take tune up fights. he basically won peterson, prescott an garcia he just got caught. but i think its still close fights all 3 actually.. his next 3 fights should be those then he can start having a big head again.

You should be his manager. Never heard of a better plan for Khan in my life.

Seeing as Peterson and Garcia are tied up in title matches it would be better for Khan to go this route :

Breidis Prescott - December - Manchester arena. Would gather huge interest in the UK

Lamont Peterson - May - Las Vegas. A fight Peterson cant pass up due to the controversy

Danny Garcia - October - NYC - Why not? Morales got a rematch and theres a large Puerto Rican following in NYC

Should he win he picks up the IBF belt along the way and possibly the WBA/WBC belts assuming Garcia doesnt lose to the Mathysse/Olusegen winner (which IMO he will)

    Sadly no.

It is a well known fact that the WBC tends to favour Mexican fighters (Hence why Ajose Olusegen has been waiting on line whilst Morales has had 3 fights now with that belt despite losing to Garcia and now getting a rematch)

The IBF has a similar system. When Lamont Peterson was caught using steroids (or testosterone replacement for the sympathizers) The IBF chose not to strip him when the WBA did and reinstated Khan as champion.

The IBF has given Zab Judah a title shot time and time again after beating guys ranked nowhere near as good as fighters who have earned their shot.

So when Zab wins an IBF eliminator you can guarantee that he's going to get a title shot.

It wasn't a lucky shot, Garcia kept throwing the big left hook and Khan kept jumping in, eventually it was going to land and Garcia knew it.

That said, this would be an entertaining plan.

Naw man, he just got caught
He got caught with the same punch over and over until he got knocked out
People seem to forget that Garcia was landing his own good shots as well. Beautiful hooks to the body and that left hook landed many times before the KD.
It was just like WIlliams - Martinez II.

Garcia was throwing that left hook from the very first round with some power but Khan seemed to block or evade it and actually cut Garcia around the eye and was out working him in round 3 before that wild punch connected and caught Khan on the neck, and I can tell you from experience getting punched on the neck will have quite some effect on you.

From that point Khans legs were gone and he just never recovered properly, or he might have had Bayless allowed him to fight on he may have made it out of that round and got his legs back (as he did with Maidana) but I thought the stoppage was fair enough, Khan looked lost in there and Bayless did everything he could to help him and in the end Khan didnt look as if he wanted it (was unable to give Bayless his gloves to wipe them off)

Khan won the first 2 rounds easily and was winning round 3 until the knockdown.

sorry, but i can't see him going twelve rounds even with the Prescott that fought Alvarado. he'd get KO'd by danny again as well if he wants a war or he might be able to outbox him if he chooses not to trade shots.

his fights with Peterson will probably always be controversial.

I wouldnt go that far, in Williams-Martinez II Martinez was setting up that left cross in the same fashion everytime he threw it by throwing his full bodyweight into the punch trying to catch Williams on the counter which he eventually did when Williams practically walked into the punch causing the KO

With Khan-Garcia, Garcia was throwing the left hook from the get go but no in the way that caused the first knockdown. Previously he was going to the body and throwing a hard aimed left hook although it was blocked and missed a few times you could see thats where was intending to throw it and when it hit Khans glove you could hear the impact. However the punch that knocked Khan down was during and exchange when Khan came in and Garcia threw a blind shot out of desperation/reflex with his head down and eyes closes unlike the shots he was throwing before which landed on Khan's neck throwing off his equilibrium

I take nothing away from Garcia, he obviously had trained in the gym to throw that left hook but lets not go saying he planned that specific punch at that specific time. He threw a lucky punch and it paid off
