    I think its a possibility.

He's achieved his dream of been a world champion. His chin is too suspect to take on any of the big names anywhere near there prime, or to engage in a spot of unification. So what is Frank Warren promotions going to do to maintain his superstar status.

The only way I can see him progressing any further then 24 months is by trying to 'beat' Calzaghes 'impressive' record of defences.

The problem lies in the fact that Khan is a PPV fighter allegedly. How on earth is he going to be able to convince the fans into purchasing these less then stella events?

its very apparent that FW seems to see a PPV future in his olympic signings. I think it will become extremely common for them to appear on Khans PPV undercards. They will then eventually get to 19-0 and fight for WBO or maybe WBA titles and thus become PPV fighters in their own right.

However I cannot see khan lasting. Like Naseem before him he has a caring family who probably would rather he quit once he reached financial security. Khans next loss, unless it is to Hatton will result in retirement- i'm almost certain.

The prescott loss has been swept under the carpet and Prescotts subsequent defeat this weekend must have served as some relief for Khan who will now probably have no requirement to 'clear his name'.

Warrens matchmaking policies with his top fighters aren't really about building a legacy, they are about intelligently prolonging a fighters earning potential. 70-30 match ups that tantalise the fans with what could be, rather then what is.

As soon as Khans training starts to suffer as a result of lack of motivation its over, and I just get the impression the way Khan was talking in the post fight press conference that he has climbed his mountain.

I disagree. I think Khan is hugely ambitious and genuinely believes he's an elite talent.

Jeff, I count you as one of the most best posters on here but this is silly. I'm beginning to think you've got a vendetta against Mr Warren.

Why is it silly? Its got nothing to do with Warren nor do I say anything derogetory about him in the post.

Answer me this- What next for amir khan? Where do you see him in 24 months time? :good

I think he is hugely ambitious but I think he only ever wanted to be a world champion- and he has done it.

I'm sure he's spoken about being a pound for pound champ among things.

Well, if I go by what Warren has in mind then maybe he will vacate then fight Morales and Hatton- both are fights that I don't want to see, however. When Campbell was undisputed champ at 135 there was a lot of talk from Mr Warren about a Khan fight so the winner of Bradley-Campbell is a possibility as well, IMO. :good Let's face it, his next few fights will be aimed at building his record and getting more exposure in the states. You never know, if JMM loses against PBF he might defend his 135 titles against Khan- I'm not sayiong that will happen as it probably won't but I'm sure Warren has it all planned secretly behind the scenes.

He'll fight in America within his next two fights Against a mexican of some variety, I believe, and will move their permanently within two years. . Can't see the Hatton fight happening.....depends on Ricky I guess.

OK fair play thats your opinion and it sounds promising.

Please don't immediately write off what I say as hate. Trust me I hate neither Khan nor Warren, I was pleased as punch for Khan but its a controversial statement that inspires conversation. Thats what we're here for isn't it. :good

I know Jeff where are u comming from but I think thr are alot of options for Khan he can fight at LW, LWW and WW so too many fights for him for next 5 to so on years.

Best option I can see him from now is whn he finish this PPV **** with sky he shd fights in the US on undercards and make fans in the US.

And till tht time he will be fully polished nd can pick sum big names.

How long do you forsee PPV with Khan? I really can't imagine anyone paying for a normal defence. Barrera- there's a angle, Kotelnik- there's an angle, First defence- whats the angle?
