I have no confidence in Khan's chin. None. It has failed him so much he would have to fight a perfect fight to win, and he always starts to slug.
Neither wanted Khan did they. Would have been better Khan/Floyd than Berto Floyd was scared of Khan Amir;s chin was safe against Floyd he couldnt break an egg
Pac is just so old. And while Khan chin has been the issue on numerous occasions, i think it's pretty clear that Manny wont be able to capitalize. Manny rarely scored 1 punch KOs. It was always via accumulation. Even now, he is still ridiculously fast, but he can't maintain the output. It is clear when you watch his recent training videos and it was most evident in the Horn fight. At 40 Pac is no longer able to go full 3 minutes, and imo not even 10 seconds. And i hate compubox but something they do get (so so)right is punches thrown. Manny is throwing nearly half of what he used to.
Who has khan beat at welter to deserve the Pacquaio fight I mean if we are saying it’s because of his name then damn anyone who drew big crowds could come out of retirement and get the big money fights but that’s not how it works. Even if Marquez’s knee held up and he unretired I would want to see him fight a contender before Pacquaio v Marquez 5. Khan doesn’t deserve a payday cause of his name he has beat absolutely no one at 147. He was the Mando to Garcia’s belt and didn’t even try to avenge his lost
That is truly what makes his fights so goddamn fun for some reason. I want to hate Amir Khan so bad but even when he is surely in dream land from a punch ,he manages to get up and come forward for more and it makes everyone say,"What the **** is wrong with Khan?" One minute he is slapping away to victory and the next he is staggering around trying to stay conscious. I really hope this fight happens just to see if Khan really can stay upright against Manny. Chris Algeiri staggered him for **** sake, Pacquiao could end him.
Khan's chin is terrible. Manny lands on people and he will land and hurt Khan.. Khan has a good right, but Manny is too active for Khan.
