im not a keyboard warrior *******, im a fighter as well and 85% of the people that post on this board dont have the ability that i have. period.

click on this link if you want to see a video of me from a few years back shadow boxing.

im not being cocky by posting this video, im not saying ill be world champ one day, confident or anything of the sort. im posting this video to show that i know what im talking about and YES as a FIGHTER i am offended by what he said because i dont believe ill get brain damage, im not worried about my health, im worried about putting the sport of boxing back on the map. abotu making people realize the amount of heart it does take to step in that ring. i give him credit for going back in after being knocked out, but to say hes afraid of brain damage!? whatever. call yourself a fan of boxing if you want, but to be a fan of that is to be a *****. im not talking as a person with no ring experience, most of you commenting dont have ring experience. AT ALL. i have the scars to prove i fight. and yes, it is up to him to retire, but he should keep it to his ****in self. thats all im saying.

What is wrong with leaving with your health intact? You mean it's better to box and further your career as long as you can even if it means getting brain damaged in the process? Well no thanks.

i dont understand whats funny. you guys are the reason why boxing is dying. the reason why fighters like mayweather make the most money yet guys like cotto put up the most entertaining fights. you understand?

you wanna save boxing, you want it back on the map but you dont want your fighters to be in harms way and you dont want your fighters to sacrifice.

i just dont understand any of it. its a new generation raised on computers, internets, laziness and all in all a very VERY soft generation.

what happened to the machismo of roberto duran? you wont see a "swarmer" like the man in your avatar ever again with this new style of thinking.

youre all so offened by what i said but you also dont grasp it at the same time. if youre gonna be in the fight game, FIGHT. Fight as long as you hvae to, and yes, you are there to entertain. why the **** else are you getting paid?

but hey, everyone wants boxing to be saved and to be the number one sport again but apparently rather see a john ruiz style rather than a katsidid or marquez style even.
because fighters dont wanna get hurt!
    its ****in ridiculous.

There are loads of swarmers and fighters. What was Ricky Hatton? He left the sport for his own good. Khan is not saying anything that is a disgrace, he is saying that he knows the dangers of the sport and will have been putting himself in there for 10 years by the time he is 28 and believes that is a good time to retire.

The sport would have far less of a bad image if guys like Ali had not carried on when they were past it.

In Britain there is a guy who recently retired called Jamie Moore. Involved in absolute legendary domestic fights where he put everything on the line, look up his bout against Matthew Macklin it is almost Gatti-Ward like. But he retired recently on medical advice and after some bad losses.

Being a realist about the sport and saying you will not go on too long is not killing the sport or being a piece of ****, let alone a *****.

Boxing politics and the bull**** way in which so many big fights are not made is what is most damaging to the sport.

Not sure how you can say Khan is a *****. Being a boxer doesn't give you the right to spout negatives about a young world champion. What have you done lately for the sport?

Personally, in case you forgot, good boxing is about hitting and not being hit, although it's a given that fighters' will give and ship their fair share of punishment in the ring. There's nothing "******" or cowardice about wanting to leave the sport with your faculties intact.

Too many shots to the head have left greats like Hearns, Toney, Ali and many more with unquestionable impairments. One of the greatest middleweight fights, in my lifetime, between Benn and McCellan show's us the futility of being too brave in the ring; their toe to toe war left McCellan in a wheel chair with very expensive ongoing medical support bills.

You'd have to be STUPID, in my opinion not to agree with Khan, simply on the basis of self preservation.

Khan hasn't hit his prime yet. When he does and he's making what Pac and Floyd are making he's gonna add another 8 years onto his career.

No need to worry about him. He'll do ok.

I wouldn't be suprised if he was retired by 25. All it's going to take is another loss and he'll begin to question why he's doing it. Currently the only thing motivating him other than money is the idea that he could one day be P4P king, once he realises that isn't going to happen, I doubt we'll see much more of him.

Well it's down to him, it's his career and his life. He's willing to step into the ring for yours and everyone's entertainment...

'hes a ***** and any other fighter who is afraid of brain damage shouldnt fight, period'

'and if anyone agrees with khan or thinks that fighters should be retired by 28 because of long term health reasons is a ****** too and are part of the problem and not the solution to boxing.'

Question(s), do you box? Are you a professional boxer? Do you get paid to punch and be punched in the face? If your answer is no to these questions, you have no right to call a boxer a "******", or "a *****".

'part of the reason why boxing is dying'

    Also, boxing is not dying.

the only way fighters go out at 25 is if
they just dont have the desire (bojado)
they are so rich they walk away (havent seen that yet)
    mental problems
    jail
    death

i cant think of but maybe 1 or 2 guys that ever said "man im done, it was fin...lata"

He wont retire at 28. No chance

Haye I'm not sure about. I wouldn't put it past him to retire purely to avoid fighting Wladimir
