what a piece of **** thing to say. as a boxer and as a boxing fan im disgusted by his comments and feel as though this is part of the reason why boxing is dying and thats because fighters are borderline *****. They are so affected by current status of LEGENDS like muhammad ali and other fighters who LAID THEIR LIFE ON THE LINE FOR LEGACY AND TO BE REMEMBERED that they dont wanna be "brain damaged" or have "cauliflowered ears" etc...

how is an aspiring young boxer supposed to feel seeing amir khan say something like that? hes a ***** and any other fighter who is afraid of brain damage shouldnt fight, period. and if anyone agrees with khan or thinks that fighters should be retired by 28 because of long term health reasons is a ****** too and are part of the problem and not the solution to boxing. Fighters used to FIGHT and they had reasons mostly economical.

Possibly the most pathetic post I have ever read on here. So he is a disgrace to the sport by saying he wants to retire after being a pro for a decade because it is a tough sport and too many fighters carry on to a point where it damages them?:roll:

And now he is a *****. How many pro fights have you had? He took up boxing, fought as a 17 year old kid in the Olympics and after getting brutally KOd by Prescott he came straight out and gave a lengthy interview making very few excuses, faced the music and the humiliation and then got right back in the ring and vowed to prove his critics wrong.

I'm not even a Khan fan, but for some muppet behind a keyboard to call a professional fighter who has got straight back in there after being destroyed, and who has picked himself up off the canvas in other fights to stop his opponent a "*****" is utterly pathetic.

And to paint a comment about getting out of the game before he takes too much damage as being a "piece of **** thing to say" shows how utterly naive or stupid you are.

It IS a dangerous sport, it DOES lead to brain damage and the problem with these things happening in the sport is down to people like Holyfield being allowed to continue or low level journeymen who have 15 consecutive KO losses being allowed to fight on as a pro.
