And even if he hurts his right hand again,he won't have to worry about not getting the KO. But let's keep in mind it's not Khan's fault he's in the frame.
So now a guy who's only the 4th best 140 in the world is suddenly a Mayweather candidate. Iv always defended Floyd against the 'cherry pick' mob. But i won't be defending this.
theres not a chance khan will fight matthyse (he probs would but gbp won't let it happen).. it's going to be khan v alexander december, winner gets floyd in may.. (they're putting him with somebdoy who can't punch).. i think devon will beat him though. Still haven't a clue who floyd will fight in sept though, it's literally coming to the point where it's going to HAVE to be alvarez, theres nobody else... maybe matthyse but i don't think gbp would do that yet, floyd will outbox him and then the hype will die down for him.
Lets be real.. Khan has always looked horrible compared to real top level fighters. He's not top level and never will be, not just because of his chin but because he's not even highly skilled or intelligent. All he has is speed and hype.
I can understand being passionate about a fighter, but this Khan love has to stop. This man is going to end up getting hurt in the ring. Now he is trying to convince himself that it's the weight that is causing him to not take punches good and taking the sting off his punches. The dude has heart, but he is going to get seriously hurt if he keeps on.
I am not going to disagree with you on that. If I remember right, until few months ago he insisted making 140 is not a problem and that he was comfortable there, as his reason for not wanting to go up to 147.
I respect Khan for his passion, but the dude reminds me of an old, shot to hell Roy Jones. Any punch that lands cleans bothers the hell out of him and unlike Jones he is in his prime. I just see him getting in serious trouble if he tries to move up in weight.
4th is being generous. Garcia, Peterson, Matthysse I assume - but though Khan is a better technical boxer than the likes of Alvarado and Rios, do you really think Khan could get through 12 rounds without Rios landing a KO blow...Khan's defense is as suspect as his chin
He's right. It'll pull in the casuals/British hopefuls and it's a relatively easy night for Floyd. It'd certainly turn in bigger numbers than say, an Alexander fight would (plus it'll be more entertaining too, **** me Devon's a bore to watch). I think people need to get over the fact that the Canelo fight's not happening, it's too big a risk to Floyd's '0'.
