Khan should never have abandoned the style he employed against Malignaggi: fight safe from a distance. It was a very boring style, but it was effective. The moment he tried to be an "exciting" fighter he was done. People forget that Khan was having a relatively easy time with Garcia before his china got cracked. If he had fought the fight in his old, boring, safety-first style, he would have won that fight. ymmv
