Amir Khan Sparring

I Know Khan has sparred with Pacquiao in the past, does anyone know who he is sparring with at the Wild Card for his up coming fight with Paulie Malignaggi.

 

Someone who wont hit him full force in the face.

To be fair, Pete Quillin is a Super Middleweight and is pretty damn good himself.

Kahn will outwork him. I am not a Kahn fan in the least but this is his coming out party in America. He knows he has to put on a performance. Obviously Paulie was selected because he doesn't have any power to hurt Kahn with. Roach has predicted a third-round stoppage. I'm not sure about that, but what I am sure of is that Kahn wins this fight decisively. There's no way he's losing a decision (assuming it goes that far). There's a reason Kahn is a 5-to-1 favorite.

 

While you bring up valid points, I believe the jab & speed from Pauli will pose significant problems for Khan. You also have to factor in Pauli's mind games on Khan; they have gotten under Khan's skin quite a bit...

 

Amir's still faster than Paulie.

Paulie is really quick..but if he clowns in the ring this time,Amir isn't going to stand there dumbfounded the way Juan Diaz did.Paulie is liable to bite off his goddamned tongue if he sticks that out because Amir will clip him.I don't think he'll knock him out since know one has ever done that to paulie but maybe a TKO stoppage.

 

i keep hearing rumors about Khan getting Ko'd in sparring but nothing official. You guys got any sources for these?

 

Why would he be sparring a super middleweight in preparation for Paulie?
